I'm a grayling resident and a loyal shopper my wife and I are in this store at least 2-3 times a week. Brian the manager that hires people told me he would hire me for part time work at the job fair in grayling on 16-April and a few days later while I was at the store talking to another associate. I am a 54 yrs old Army Veteran and on disability from an injury 12 years ago and trying to get back to work, Brian told me to go into the site and apply so I did but having and hard time with the site. I talked to Brian on two separate occasions about the site one time I went up to the store to ask him for some help applying into the site he said he was to busy, then about a week later I called him to see if I come up to the store if he could help me with the job site and again he said he was to busy. Don't understand why he couldn't take five minutes out of his shift to help me. While on the phone he acted like he didn't even know me didn't care who I was. You don't tell someone you will hire them and don't even take the time to help them out on this job site. I really thought I had this job and things would get a little easier for my wife and i paying the bills. Thanks Brian for all the false impression you giving me. I will never step foot in the store again. Just shop in Gaylord mite cost more in gas but at least what I get a family fare I will get double at Wal-Mart or Myers. And better produce and cheaper meats. Brian shot me down on a job he promised me. THANKS AGAIN BRIAN FOR THE...
Read moreI called this location today to follow up on an application. As one does trying to find work I am newer to this area. Taylor in customer service will act like sheâs having trouble hearing you then hang up on you. I only know this bc I could hear the phone being smacked down and the call ending. However, by the THIRD time I called as soon as i mentioned leaving a review with her name and wanting to speak to a higher up her phones miraculously start to work and she could hear me with no issues during this call, however the call with the higher up was a bit staticky so I give them that at MOST. But the call still didnât end for the whole 10 minutes and you mean to tell me it ended on her end within 22 seconds both times I first called? I donât think so. I donât care how busy you are, or the issues you're experiencing, you answer and RESPECTFULLY put people on hold. If anyone is like me they wouldnât mind holding how ever long if it means they get the assistance theyâre simply asking for. I donât appreciate being gaslit. I will no longer be visiting this location. Iâd rather drive the same amount of time to Walmart anyways. By the looks of it and the talk of moldy food you guys have ZERO room for bad customer service. I hope this review helps improve...
Read moreWhat a rip off!! Visiting from out of state, I go in and shop. I bought several things that were 'on sale'. I get to check out, along with 15 other people, and there is one non-self check out lane open, along with three self check out lanes. No one from the store is doing anything to open more lanes. When it is finally my turn, I start self checking and finding all the sale items were ringing up the wrong price. A customer behind me finally says, "you only get the sale price if you have a membership card". What!!! Are you kidding me? I finish scanning my items, press 'finish and pay', it tells me to insert my card, which I do, then it tells me to remove my card, which I do, then the screen says 'processing'. Processing........ processing....... processing. Finally, the same customer tells me, "Well, you have to press 'finish and pay' a second time, then tell it you are using a credit card", even though I'e already done all that. I think I'll start driving the 20...
