Got take out for the first time at this restaurant. I was so looking forward to a great meal, but unfortunately it was anything but great. I ordered the sweet and sour chicken with fried rice, pork egg rolls, and BBQ pork buns. The buns were flavorless and barely edible. The egg rolls were beyond golden brown and edging toward incinerated. Despite their crispness, they were still greasy when I took a bite. I couldn't even finish it. The sweet and sour chicken looked promising, but some of the chicken was beyond cooked to the point where it felt like I was chewing on jagged shards of glass. My order had 4 small chunks of canned pineapple, 3 strips of still raw green pepper and a few slivers of barely cooked onion. Not enjoyable! The fried rice is basically white rice drowning in soy sauce. No peas, carrots, onion. Do yourself a favor and skip this place. The 30 dollar price tag left me feeling hungry ...
Read moreWe were pleasantly surprised to find that this restaurant had gluten-free and vegan options. Our daughter has food allergies, which can make eating out a difficult experience for her. She wasn't with us but loves Asian food, so we ate in and ordered take out for her.
The menu was extensive and includes a ton of unique drink options including Boba. We ordered crab rangoon, egg drop soup, fried rice, three entrees (two from the vegan menu), and Thai tea.
Everything we ate in the restaurant was delicious, including the Thai Tea. Though the gluten-free noodles with vegan sauce did not travel well. By the time we made the 30-minute drive home, it had congealed and was not salvageable. I'm sure it would have been great in the restaurant and was not the fault of the kitchen, it seems to be the nature of the noodles. I would definitely recommend the restaurant, I just wouldnât recommend the gluten-free noodles...
Read moreThey have a monopoly on Asian cuisine which helps them but leaves the public with a "last resort for Asian cuisine.
They post hours of operation but open when they feel like opening so expect to get the voicemail. Their food is basic, bare minimum to call it edible but not worth the ridiculus cost. Most of the items taste as though they were simply reheated from mass produced frozen food supplier. The service is comparable to the food quality. Every order placed is met with an attitude of inconvenience rather than appreciation. The server/cashier made it obvious she didnt want to be there and she didnt want to wait on customers either
You'd be better off hitting the frozen food aisle at Family Fare and using self-checkout. Hell, call me and ill make crab rangoons for you. The service is better as well. As a local, I literally only go there when it's too hot or cold to run my deep fryer...
