This park is really nice. Wide open field for games and kites. But today (8/22) I found a 2-3 inch piece of exposed rebar between the BYOBB cornhole space and the big playground. Well, not so much found, as tripped over. Glad it was me and not one of my boys. Still a pretty good space. I would like to catch one of the shows at the amphitheater some time soon too. :UPDATE: 3 months later Last 2 pics are from today (12/5) rebar STILL here. Slightly covered, 😠STILL exposed. WATCH YOUR STEP! IT'S BEEN 5 MONTHS!!! 🤬RIDICULOUS GRAYSON😡!!! STILL THERE! They just covered it with straw. MUCH harder to spot now. Downgrading my review 4/23/24 They put a trash can over it. That's SOMETHING...I guess🤷🏾‍♂️ 10/8/25 Over A YEAR later and it's almost completely covered... just not removed🤷🏾‍♂️ I guess we should accept that as progress enough ey Grayson? Nevermind the park was closed, MID SUMMER, for DAYS leading into the weekend for "maintenance" just not to fix any ACTUAL hazards.

Fun, safe, beautiful & lots to do year round! Grayson Park works hard to be a hub of family fun in the community & it shows! From Easter egg hunts, to Shakespeare in the Park, to an ordinary weekend stop at the playground, there’s always a reason to enjoy this beautiful, shady park. Adaptive playground equipment is available. Picnic tables & pavilions for parties or lunch. Lots of space to spread out! We live close & like riding our bikes here. There were many trees around play area. Those made nice shade plus there are benches around play area. Kids could enjoy playing with not over heat . Parents can be seat near by. There is a big party area with big tables and roof next play area. There were a lot of trash bins with lid. Good for party also. Concert stage ? Is under the construction. I saw water fountains and forcet but they didn't work. If you want to wash your hands you need to go bathroom. Bathroom is for only one person or one...
