My fiancé purchased my engagement band last year from a wonderful woman named Hannah at a jewelry store in Bozeman. We went back to the same store months later to purchase wedding bands, only to find out that Hannah had relocated to Riddles in Great Falls. We were so impressed with her customer service and friendliness, that we decided we would order our rings from her all the way in Great Falls (we live in Billings). We called Riddles and asked for Hannah, told her our requests, and she assisted us over the phone to find the perfect wedding bands. She remembered exactly what my engagement ring looked like and found a band that matched it beautifully. Hannah sent us pictures of bands, and gave us the best prices she could. Miss Hannah was never pushy like the typical jewelry salesperson, and seemed genuinely happy to help us find exactly what we were looking for. When we eventually did select our rings, she had them sized and shipped them over to us. She even included a handwritten card in the box, which was a very personal touch. The rest of the staff that I had contact with at the Great Falls Riddles store were all very polite, helpful and friendly. They also have beautiful and unique jewelry. I highly recommend this store to anyone, and don't at all doubt that you will have a great experience there just...
Read moreA couple of words come to mind (besides the ones you want to think of when you go into a Jewelry store, I will get to those in a minute) when you walk into Riddles Jewelry on 10th Ave South, Great Falls, MT, those are Kindness and Patience. This isn't the Pushy, High-Pressured store that when you say you have a budget they are required (I know this for a fact cause I worked for one in the mall) to show you the most EXPENSIVE Diamond. If you go into Riddles you can see their merchandise is not a cookie-cutter duplicate of something you saw next door. They have traditional to a Disney collection and for those who felt they were born in at the wrong time (I am one of those )some pieces, to me, that look a little Downtown Abby. If you are looking for something to just change up your ring, they can do that without it breaking the bank. Their special order stones are beautiful and handled with care by the the teams wholesalers. I myself purchased a Pink Tourmaline and had it put in the center of my wedding ring for my mom who passed from breast cancer. My ring never looked better! Each of the associates from Nicole the manager, Neil , Hannah, Cicely, and Paula make it a wonderful shopping experience. Even if you are not spending much, they treat you like YOU are worth a million...
Read moreI went into Riddle’s recently to get pricing on a custom piece due to a loss on my previous wedding ring and had 4 big red flags happen. First, they tested my current ring and told me it was 10kt gold which I’ve had 3 appraisals on that read 14kt and I’ve since paid $150 to a private gemologist who tested it at 14kt. Next, when asking if it was possible to create a custom piece, a specific way, I was told they’ve done things in the past and “sometimes they have to Frankenstein it together” but they make it work. Next, the price that they are selling lab created diamonds at his over 3x what you can purchase similar stones on the internet for. Lastly, when I had called back to ask for a damage report to be written on my old ring, the sales associate I spoke to on the phone said that they’d have to send my ring out to their corporate office and that he “didn’t trust them at all”. He recommended someone in town to help me and repeated over and over that their corporate office does a terrible job, charges too much and he doesn’t recommend them. Yikes! Lastly, they still haven’t called for the quote on the custom piece I requested over...
