Astor Park is actually kept pretty clean. I have experienced coming here, off and on again, for a second season now. We have not played in the water here, but have been with other families who regularly let their children splash and play, and I have myself never seen glass or debris in the water. So any rumors I have heard about Green Bay Parks have never crossed that line from being rumors. Three grounds have always been free from wasps nests and trash, and the pavilion has always been picked up and swept. The location is within a reasonably quiet neighborhood with surrounded with well kept properties, which obviously indicates it is a community of people who do their part to keep the community despite their economic standing.. meaning, picked up, swept, nothing more than regular life showing outside etc.. There are definitely some family homes, however I have yet to notice anything alarming or disconcerting. So far these past two summers visiting Astor Park have been both pleasant and welcoming for our 4...
