Bellin Hospital Emergency — Local services in Green Bay

This was an absolute nightmare. I hadn't slept in 29 hours and I was shaking for 19 hours. My chest hurt I was convulsing at one point. Eyes were blood shot. Skin was red. I went in at a heart rate of 170. They just kept telling me fluid and the anxiety meds would help. It didn't. They sent me home with a heart rate ranging from 113-146. My resting heart rate is 70. I told them I need something to lower my heart rate and something for my muscles because I was shaking for hours. Nothing. Sent me home! So of course hours pass and I wasn't sleeping my heart was still racing but then I noticed I was shaking again and my face was hot to the touch plus being sweaty. Heart rate was 150. Literally. Same. Exact. Thing. I take my gabapetin then you're feeding me all these other anxirty drugs and it's not working! Yeah I'm not shaking as bad because i am doped out on anxiety meds but I still have all the other symptoms! When the dr came in I pointed and said it's 144. I don't feel comfortable leaving. He told me we can't keep u just for an elevated heart. A nurse had to fight just to give me a dr note and all she could prescribe me was , you guessed it. Anxiety meds. Not her fault though. It was all negligence from the doctors! Needless to say two hours later heart rate at146. We called and asked if we could get the right care. No one guaranteed. Some girl told us to try another provider. That's a good woman there. We filed a claim against bellin. I feel very discriminated against because I took a sex enhancement. Plus history of anxiety I have meds for that already!!!! I did start shaking less but all other symptoms still there. So you would think they would treat the other symptoms but they didn't! Needless to say after going to a different provider totally outside of bellin. I will never be coming back. Some of the nurses really cared but they're not the boss so they can't do what they think is right and they fight for whatever they can get. Absolute hell! 19 hours of this and they said let it pass. I feel like it seriously impacted my safety! Please do not waste your time just go somewhere not affiliated...

I will never come back here again. After my experience I cancelled all of my appointments with Bellin and switched facilities. I came in with severe body aches and a migraine. I could barely stand, couldn’t look at any light, and couldn’t listen to even a whisper without intense pain. When I arrived it was packed which was to be expected. The placed an initial IV site for a blood test and kept the insertion in so that way they wouldn’t have to place another one after getting back to the room. I waited 4.5 hours watching people that were laughing and came in after me go before me while I was sitting there in misery. When I got back to the room they said my IV infiltrated and they needed to place another one. They neglected to take my infiltrated one out until another 2.5 hours later even after expressing pain. All of this for them to say it’s a migraine and to go home. I found out a month later that there was high amounts of bacteria in my blood . After discharge I still wasn’t feeling good and they told me to call my PCP if I was still having issues. When I called I asked if I would need to come in for another visit due to still being in intense pain and not being able to drive or based on my recent ER visit if there was an antibiotic that could be prescribed or any type of migraine medication. The nurse’s response was “what makes you think you can call and get drugs”. I was on the edge of tears and told him that I no longer wanted to make an appointment. After seeing the bacteria results I noticed in my medical records that nowhere it noted regarding my first IV infiltration issue. I called patient experience services and filed a complaint and their response was “we interviewed staff and everyone says we never put 2 IV’s in”. I couldn’t bend my arm or straighten it out for 3 weeks and this was the response I got. There was so much more that went wrong that night but these are just a few to mention. I am not one to complain or lose my patience especially on medical professionals but this was unacceptable and the lack of ownership of the situation was astonishing. I will never be...

I went to Bellin emergency hospital this weekend and I’m not happy about my trip there. My blood pressure was so high and I take my medicine for my doctor but I couldn’t get it lowered so they made me stay overnight. OK good fine my blood pressure still was not controlled when I went home, but After seeing the bills, they gave me a shot in my stomach to prevent clots and I had a huge purple bruise on my stomach for days after I went home. I also found out they gave me a shot of hydrochloride and I am not happy about that at all. I have kidney disease and that’s what makes kidney disease worse. I’m wondering if these doctors don’t care There was no reason to give me a shot of that without checking into my records before they did seeing that I have kidney disease . I will never go to the emergency room again. I ended up staying overnight, which was fine but I’m trying to eat healthy and stay healthy so I don’t go on dialysis apparently doctors don’t really care. They do what they think is best. May I suggest next time they check a person’s records and see if they can have something like that. Apparently, when you check in in the emergency room, you signed a digital signature and that Gives them permission to do anything they want from now on. I’m getting a printed copy of that. I wanna know what they’re going to do and if I don’t agree with it, I’m not going to sign...
