Bellin Hospital is absolutely the worst hospital I have ever been to. The family clinic doctors are horrible and the emergency staff at Bellin should be reprimanded or fired. I brought my infant daughter into the ER and they were nasty and rude. The doctor was trying to convince me she might an x-ray from a different adjoining hospital and they would have to transfer her. Then he said that she needed to have an IV put in for an X-ray that they weren't sure what the doctors in the other hospital might do. He then brought in several nurses whom had no experience putting an IV into such a young baby to try an get in an IV. Three nurses made several attempts each to put an IV in multiple parts of her hands and all over her forearms while she screamed in desperation. They forced me to stop holding her and physically pushed me out of the way while they physically held her down with this large woman nurse pressing her large body against the baby until she could barely breath. At the same time three different nurses stabbed my tiny infant repeatedly with a needle for IV and are telling me that I needed to calm down while they hurt her. When we finally got transferred to the other hospital the doctor there was totally calm and made it clear that the IV was absolutely unnecessary and they didn't need an X-ray and it was unusual to put one in such a small baby. The staff at Bellin traumatized and hurt my tiny little baby all for nothing and they didn't even ask the other hospital if they needed an IV. They left black and dark blue bruises on her hands and forearms that lasted for over a month. My baby would have sudden screams and outbursts for weeks after. It was completely horrifying for a new first time mother to see this happen to their baby. I would never recommended going to Bellin Hospital. Please beware of the ER staff and do not take your...

Besides saving my wife's life when she needed an emergency cholecystectomy, helping me recover through a work accident, the care and decency displayed towards me as an immigrant by all Bellin employees, nursing staff, and doctors, has been impeccable and simply outstanding over the years.

Regardless of the urgency, requests were always met with a "we will try our best" mentality. As patient or accompanying love one, even when things became hectic, we were always tended to with empathy and care in mind.

Even when it comes to financial hardship, Bellin is helping without asking for your passport and situation and is making sure they are doing their best to help ease cost and financial burden where they can. Sadly, I cannot say this about other hospital services in town.

We are thankful for Bellin, and while we are still amidst this pandemic, it gives me personally great solace to know if I need medical help, I have a hospital and doctors who will do their best to treat me at Bellin Health available, regardless of my station in...

Parents be aware,

KidCare service is no longer the same doctor visit cost as it used to be. Bellin changed it to make more money . I used KidCare a few times for my kids over the last few years and I never never paid the cost of the emergency room. Until my recent visit in May 2015 when my son had a strep throat. I received a bill $800 for that visit. Do not trust their ad.
