We had the coziest, most delicious and spooky stay at Astor House this weekend with Linda and Tom. I brought our spooky kooky girl group to stay in the joint Hong Kong and Vienna suites for a bachelorette weekend and we had the BEST time! Prior to arriving Linda spent time emailing me great recs about the spookiest Green Bay activities to incorporate in our Bach itinerary. Leading up to our stay, the couple was so kind to accommodate our late evening arrival. On our first morning we were treated to basket-delivered goods with fresh made scones, dark roast coffee and a farmers bowl breakfast. One the second morning we dined in the parlor with candied fruits and nuts, a flaky savory quiche and potatoes, with home made vanilla ice cream over a dense chocolate cake to finish. Their breakfast menu was so thoughtfully curated and used Linda’s family recipes for each dish. Also the parlor is so beautifully decorated, you can feel the stories of past visitors and returning families in the walls. I recommend asking Tom about the history of Astor House and Linda about her intriguing paranormal experiences in and around the home. She retells these stories with such heart, I could have sat and chatted with them both for hours. The rooms themselves are beautifully antiquated and just updated enough for comfort. The beds were super comfortable and the fire place was a warming touch on a brisk evening. Use the jacuzzis if you can! Make sure to log your stay in their guest journals. Overall we had such a lovely stay and plan to return whenever we’re in Green Bay.

Recommendation for The Astor House Bed and Breakfast We recently had the pleasure of staying at The Astor House Bed and Breakfast, and we cannot recommend it highly enough. From the moment we arrived, the warm hospitality and attention to detail made it clear that this is a special place. The charming decor and immaculately clean rooms created an inviting and comfortable atmosphere. Each room is thoughtfully appointed, with all the amenities one could need for a relaxing stay. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the peaceful surroundings ensured a restful night’s sleep. The hosts went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. They provided excellent recommendations for local dining and attractions, and their genuine friendliness made us feel like we were staying with old friends. The homemade breakfast each morning was a highlight, featuring delicious, freshly prepared dishes that set the tone for the day. Located in a beautiful area, The Astor House is within easy reach of local landmarks and offers a perfect balance of tranquility and convenience. Whether you are in town for business or leisure, this bed and breakfast is a fantastic choice. In summary, The Astor House Bed and Breakfast offers a truly exceptional experience. We would give it an A+ rating and would recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy, welcoming, and memorable stay. Thank you Tom and Linda! GoPackGo 🧀

Breakfast was disappointing & obviously made at some other point, thawed, & reheated. My plate was "dusted" with salt & was then very hard to eat if not for the constant coffee. Muffin/cupcake was talked about as highlight, but soo hard to press a fork in and soo dry....again, coffee much needed! It is not hard to make breakfast for 8 people including yourselves...fresh breakfast. Soo disappointing when you personally go on and on about the food. Taste IS more important than looks. If you looooove your honey producer soo much why are you not promoting their products or place? You have the space :) Room had hot tub, but Not allowed to use on weekend night starting at 10pm until 8am. This is main feature of room and on weekend should be more available...Even if it's across from the window that has a shade that won't cover window. Hello neighbors! It was a pleasant room, but off on theme; filled with wicker furniture; too many pillows on the bed that were just for display; piles of books; and a beach vibe. Even wondered what was up with the stuffed animal. Definitely needs a redo, or rename it Golden Girls Pad. Pictures online need update. Hospitality was friendly. Parking available to guests. Fireplace was nice. Definitely antique feel to it. Wish concentration was more on the important details. Recommend it for the elderly that can still do stairs.

My husband and I had the most amazing experience at the Astor House. We just returned home from our trip and the first thing I did was write this review because it was THAT good. Tom and Linda made our gameday long weekend extra special and truly made us feel like we were returning to a cozy home each day.

Linda’s daily breakfast creations were so delicious and unexpected. We never ate the same thing twice and her creative spins on classic dishes blew us away. 3 courses including a dessert (at breakfast?!!) and coffee! We opted to dine in our room each day so we could sleep in and be lazy and our food was lovingly delivered to our door in a basket. We looked forward to opening up our treasure chest of goodies each morning and this ended up being one of the highlights of our whole trip. I never knew a berry fruit cup could be so delicious, but I’m still thinking about the sugary lemon drizzle on top. And I’m going to be dreaming about that cinnamon roll for a long time.

We stayed in the Vienna room and the unique layout and decor was such a fun change of pace from your standard room with a bed. I took way too many pictures of the artwork and had a blast going up and down the stairs to the loft. We also appreciated the private entrance through the back, the jacuzzi tub in our room, and all the lovely little details the staff incorporated to make us feel comfy and cared for. (We had an abundance of blankets and towels, wine glasses, access to a mini fridge with loaded ice cube trays, and even snacks.)

I also appreciated the genuine warmth and friendliness of Tom and Linda. They were so welcoming and kind and very easy to talk to. They greeted us like friends and offered great suggestions for restaurants and things to do nearby. Their jovial personalities made everyone feel right at home and even sparked conversations and connections with other guests.

I could go on and on and just can’t emphasize enough how much we loved staying here. We were already excited to visit Lambeau, but some of our best vacation memories are because we stayed at the Astor House. This place is really something special. We will...

This was our first time staying at a Bed and Breakfast and it was amazing! Tom and Linda were so welcoming and made our stay so enjoyable. We came from Michigan for a Green Bay Packers game (our first time at Lambeau Field) and found The Astor House to be so affordable and so convenient for the game. It was literally a five minute drive to the stadium. After the game, we were back to our room within 15 minutes which was amazing after a long day of tailgating. Tom and Linda served an amazing game day breakfast totally made in house and fresh! Our room was so cozy and clean and felt like home, unlike any hotel we have stayed at. The house is beautiful and has so many original features that make it unique and special. There is a stocked fridge full of soda, juice and tea, as well as coffee, hot chocolate, snacks, and popcorn, all complimentary. Their hospitality is above and beyond what you will find in any hotel. The grounds are beautiful, full of birds, butterflies, chipmunks, and squirrels, perfect for a morning coffee or evening glass of wine. Free wifi, cable tv, and breakfast delivered to your room if you wish were nice! We fell in love with the coffee (Scotty P's) and had to buy a bag along with some biscotti before going home. Tom and Linda, thank you so much for an amazing couple of days and we will definitely be back for our next trip to Green Bay! You are the best!

Lisa and Idris,...
