POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE: Went in for a simple exchange and had the displeasure of interacting with JEANNETTE - sales associate - short hair - . She seemingly went out of her way to try to make a simple transaction - purchased online for store pick up - went back with original email confirmation— difficult.
I simply wanted to exchange a defective —battery operated candle holder — product for the same product -one that wasn’t defective.
Jeannette first claimed that the item was out of stock —there were 2 available—
Jeannette then stated that I needed to pay the difference — I purchased for $40 and it’s currently $25 —. I didn’t care about pricing and repeated to Jeannette that I simply wanted to replace the defective device with one that wasn’t defective.
Jeannette maintained a curt and nasty attitude from the beginning until the end. Was the nastiness necessary for a simple exchange of a defective item?

Read moreI’m here to report that i visited the store yesterday and they have seemed to get rid of that bad batch of rude and disrespectful employees. Because when I walked in the store, I was greeted in a friendly matter and asked what my needs were. Hell the fact that I was greeted was alright with me. That never happened before. The staff I encountered in the past were always complaining and gossiping about people in the lobby. And didn’t care if you came in there or not. I actually enjoyed my purchase and time browsing. Thanks to Romeka she was very helpful and the other staff was too. The other store that need a staff face lift is the franchise at the Prince George’s Shopping Mall. Smh. I personally don’t shop their because BABW staff was trying to accuse me of shoplifting. I promptly walked out the store. Hell no..and never stepped foot again since and that was...
Read moreIt's said Virgos are creatures of habit, so to that end, Bath & Body Works does not play well to my need for consistency in product offerings. I've loved far too many B&BW offerings that ended up discontinued (see: Sea Island Cotton, Moonlight Path, Thankful from their Aromatherapy line, Noir from their men's care line, etc)... so I'm starting to fall back on makers and lines that I can count on to be around for the longer term to be part of my regimen. Gotta accept B&BW isn't the settling-down type, enjoy the occasional fling with their stuff while it's around, and not get...
