The CVS is fine, but the pharmacy is absolutely ridiculous, impatient, and rude. The pharmacist on call today, at this time, was too busy trying to justify their inaction to actually fix the issue that was clearly time-sensitive. We came in on Thursday to try and have my mother-in-law's (MIL) prescription transferred from Georgia to here because she is visiting to help us take care of our newborn (born on Friday). The technician we spoke to kindly explained that we would be unable to transfer it that day due to the Georgia pharmacy being closed. She explained that someone would call on Friday to transfer the medication. On Sunday, we called CVS because they never got back to us regarding my MIL's prescription. The person we spoke to explained that she had notes from the Thursday discussion and that for some reason, the pharmacist neglected to call. They also explained that because it was a Sunday, they couldn't make the transfer because the GA pharmacy was closed. Today (Monday), we went in to see if we could get the pharmacist to transfer the medicine. It took all of 2 minutes to accomplish the actual transfer, but before that he spent nearly 3 minutes explaining how transfers are very difficult and that somehow was the reason it didn't occur on Friday (which made no sense when we were specifically told no one even tried on Friday). Instead of listening to us (or providing any customer service), he forced us to move to the back of the line, call the GA pharmacy, and figure it out ourselves. He basically told us we were wasting his time because he had vaccines to deliver. The whole process literally took less than 5 minutes in total, btw. When we did figure it out (in a matter of seconds), the pharmacist made the transfer while explaining how he was annoyed to have to be on hold for the 3 seconds it took for the GA technician to answer the phone and transfer the call to the GA pharmacist. If he had given us a little grace and done his job with compassion, the whole ordeal would have been extremely quick and easy. Instead, the pharmacist found it more convenient to be patronizing and extremely insensitive. Mind you, the medicine is literally life-saving medication that she was now out of due to the pharmacy's missteps and inaction on Friday. I will never patronize this pharmacy again, and no one else should. As my MIL stated, some people just should NOT have roles in customer service. 🙄 very upset and disappointed by the pharmacist's attitude....
Read moreThis is the worst experience ever with this locations pharmacy. I've been having prescriptions sent here for years and it's getting worse. I've been calling this location about a prescription my doctor sent to them. Apparently after alot of phones calls and a week later, I finally find out that they don't have it in stock and there is no known estimated time they will have it. So I called another pharmacy of my choice which told me they would send a request to this pharmacy to have my prescription transferred. I've called the new pharmacy 3 times. Each time they tell me that they are still waiting on this pharmacy to send the transfer order to them. So today I call this CVS pharmacy again and leave a detailed message. The man rudely tells me that it's a hipaa violation for me to be calling and that I need to call my Dr to send the prescription to the other pharmacy. So I explained that the other pharmacy told me in detail that they have reached out to this cvs twice and no response. So the person at this cvs tells me, "I'm not saying they are lying but we have the fastest call back time in the state". My question to Cvs is what does call back time have to do with just transferring the prescription over the the pharmacy I asked? And that pharmacy has contacted you all. As a patient is very disappointing to be in the middle of the health providers just to get our medication filled and with so much delay. This guy at cvs response to me was rude and very dismissive. It's really getting bad at these retail pharmacy's.....No kind of customer service. I'm going to stop patronizing this location after my encounter this morning. Very sad. Several hours later I called back because they processed my insurance so my new pharmacy couldn't process it. I got IRVINE Kahn on the phone and he told me I had to get back in the call que. I told him I've already talked to him earlier and I need them to not process the claim through my insurance and reverse the process so my new pharmacy can fill the request. He was like I can't stay on the phone with you. Tell them to back out of the system. You can barely get a word in. Like I...
Read moreThe Worst CVS pharmacy in the State of Maryland. Last month I call at 5pm ask was my prescription ready they said yes I get there at 8pm and stand in line over 15 to 20 minutes and then they tell me they can’t find my prescription which was a narcotic which I get every month then the pharmacist going to tell me I have to come back tomorrow and said no I’m not coming back tomorrow because I’m out of my medicine and you all going to fine it, so they said they have to look through all the prescriptions I said ok I’ll wait. I was there for over a hour wait for them to fine my prescription. Ok 8/1/2022 I call the pharmacist David. Nkuidjeu and ask can he fill my prescription and this was at 4:20 pm I get there at 9:10pm and stood in line for 15 to 25 minutes and get to the register and she tell me my prescription is not ready and I said I call the pharmacist and talk to him and told him I would be here at 6pm but I didn’t get there until something after 9pm and they tell me my prescription is not ready and when I talk to you at 4:20 pm and you said it would be ready come on what the Hell. And then her tell me it would be ready in 20 minutes which was unfair. These pharmacist right here are nasty rude and unprofessional: Lynda.C. Onioha , Damian I. Uzoukwu and they need to be removed because peoples hate coming to that pharmacy but they are only one in area that stay open until 10pm. But this month is my last month to getting prescriptions from CVS. And im reporting the CVS to the Better...
