Waffle House — Restaurant in Greenville

Went tonight with my son with Autism. The waitress had an attitude, name was 2 letters idk. The cook whose name began with an s, cursed the whole time. They were over at counter looking at my waffle, flipped it over and brought it to me. I asked for butter and she said there was none and brought me over a big hunk of butter with black stuff all over it. The bottom was gone I guess stuck to the waffle iron. Waitress never came back. Stayed in back talking. The next crew came in and I was so thirsty I asked kuay for some tea. Very nice. Then I showed her my waffle. She apologized and made me a new one. Our waitress was still in the back talking. Kuay brought me my waffle with butter. I said I thought there was no butter. She said there was. I was so mad but thanked her and just couldn’t eat anymore. Just brought me to go containers and asked her to ring me up then here comes my waitress. Ummm not. Paid my bill and left tip to kuay I would of gave kuay 4 stars if we would of had her and a cook that didn’t curse the whole time. Not a place...

This is the waffle House I usually go to because the one close to my house never answers the phone. I don't drive so I place to go orders and have someone pick it up for me. Well today for the second time I was asked to hold and got the phone set down and forgot about fot 10 + minutes. Finally hung up and called back and got the line busy signal. Who knows how long they would have kept me waiting if I hadn't hung up first and there are probably many other customers call who couldn't get through because they just leave the phone off the hook. It is extremeley rude to make someone wait that long and it tells me that Waffle house doesn't value my buisness. Trying the third waffle house in town before I just stop ordering from...

The service is why I gave 4 ⭐. The food however, I would have gave 3⭐. I was very upset to see the sausage patty on my sandwich have been smashed as thin as a piece of construction paper. And that is not an exaggeration. It wasn't a sausage and egg and cheese on toast it was an egg and cheese with sausage flavor that was not what I ordered.
