I'm a big lover of boba, so having a boba tea shop so close to my home is a wonderful surprise. There is a nice selection of drink options and popping boba flavors at really reasonable prices. So far, I've tried a new drink every time I've gone and have enjoyed every single one. I wish there was a little more ice in the finished drinks to fully cool down the milk teas, but that's more of a personal nitpick. My favorite boba tea shop is in Plano, but TA Boba Tea House is a great local option. The boba tea, according to them, is excellent...enough so that it has them hooked lol Although, they've been working on restraint because, even at approximately $4/drink which is not as expensive as Starbucks, it adds up...especiallyif you get one of their ice cream macaroons which are $7+ each. The staff has always been friendly and helpful. The shop itself is clean but kind of plain/bare, although it does offer tables where you can sit and visit while enjoying...
Read moreI ordered the brown sugar latte (regular ice and sugar) and tried a friends 1/2 Taro 1/2 Coconut milk tea. The latte wasn’t as sweet as I expected it to be but that’s an easy fix by just asking for more sugar. The flavor was good and the regular tapioca boba was softer than I’m used to, took a bit longer to chew. In the Taro/Coconut there was a weird grittiness to it, almost like there was sand in the drink, the flavor was way better than the latte though. Wait was long but business was busy, 100% understandable. Overall glad to see this place come to Greenville and hope everyone gives it...
