If I could give 0 stars I would. We stayed here while we were on a Christian Tours motorcoach tour. Our Room was a king room and from first appearances it was great. That was until we actually got into the bed. We had just showered and were getting in bed for the night. We started watching a movie and kept feeling something wet on the bed, but we thought maybe we're just feeling things because we keep our rooms cold. Well after a little while of the sensation not going away, we turned on the light and checked the bed, to our surprise and disgust there was a huge yellow wet spot on the bed. It was obviously urine. It was so bad that it was soaked through the mattress pad (which wasn't waterproof and didn't even cover the whole mattress) and was saturating the mattress. It was disgusting. Honestly, we almost vomited. My husband, who was the one laying on that side quickly ran to shower, again, while I called downstairs. ||The front desk seemed shocked (i would hope so) and offered us another room. So, I went downstairs to get the new keys and we repacked all of our belongings and moved rooms. As we were packing, I did notice that the room wasn't cleaned as it should be because there was an eyeliner pencil under one of the tables that wasn't ours. When I went down to get the key the front desk said that they blocked the room so no one else gets it and apologized. It was late (10pm) and I didn't feel like causing a big commotion, so I just accepted his apology. Looking back, I should have caused the commotion. ||The next morning, on our way home I emailed corporate about the issue because it honestly is a huge deal, we laid in someone's bodily fluid! Anyway, at first corporate offered us 12,000 points.... I replied back informing them of the seriousness of the issue and then they offered 20,000 points. I finally got tired of going back and forth and informed them of our choice account information but also reiterated the seriousness of the situation. They credited our account with 25,000 points. Doing research in the places we vacation regularly this barely covers 1 nights stay. ||Looking back, I honestly should have called the health department or something because this was a biohazard, it was someone's bodily fluid!! I honestly don't think this hotel or corporate took this situation seriously enough. There is absolutely no excuse for this to happen. I'm still grossed out to be honest. I know the hotel & corporate aren't going to do anything else about it but I just wanted to warn...
Read more3/5||My arrival date was 3.5. my departure date was 3.19.23. I traveled there on 2.17 for my job and to inquire about the hotels in the area. I visited several hotels, but decided upon Comfort Suites (TXB47) after speaking to the front desk, and calling the general manager to confirm there was a discount for medical workers who stayed at their hotel while in the area working. I checked out on 3.19.23. I was not charged the quoted price that I was told I would be charged. I feel what they did is a form of bait and switch (fraud). They promised me one price, but charged me a higher room charge. I disputed the charges when checking out and was told by front desk I would need call the general manager to discuss this matter. I have called AJ Patel (general manager) repeatedly since my departure. He has not return ANY OF my calls even after leaving my name and number. I"ve repeatedly called, the front desk, they state he left early today for a family emergency. Everyday he's not available. Still Comfort Suites has not contacted me concerning this matter.||I can say that the hotel was decent. The third floor hallway was never vacuumed, After checking in, I noticed dirty spots on carpet while on my way to my room (needed vacuuming). The third floor carpet needed vacuuming, and it dirty when I checked out (that same spot). My room also needed vacuuming upon my arrival, but I ignored it, I felt I would be at work the entire time in the area, only to eat and sleep at the hotel. At breakfast, they only served sausages, never any other options of meat was offered. The pictures they provide on website, shows potato being served, never was a potato on the menu while I was there.||Hotel...
Read moreWe really enjoyed our stay at Greenville's pet-friendly Comfort Inn & Suites, and so did our dogs. They had plenty of room to romp and potty — a whole grassy field's worth of space — and we did too.
Our spacious room included a comfy sitting area with a sofa (which could be pulled out into a 2nd bed), coffee table, desk, twin floor lamps and and a desk lamp. It was a very cozy space for chillaxing with a good book as well as for dishing up our take-out Italian dinner.
Best of all, we received daily housekeeping service. Clean towels appeared in the bathroom as if by magic, and the bed was freshly made — complete with perfectly fluffed pillows — when we got back to the room after a long, active, dusty day of dog agility competition.
Furthermore, the internet connection for my MacBook and iPhone was 100% solid. In addition, our room had not just one but TWO working landlines, so we could actually pick up the phone and call the front desk. So convenient!
The swimming pool was cool and refreshing without being overly chilly; a Marketplace shoppette featured Texas' own Bluebell ice cream along with snack foods and frozen dinners.
Best of all, the guy at the front desk printed out my course maps for me quickly and efficiently. He even knew how to use the 2-sided printing feature. Kudos!
All in all, a fantastic hotel experience just 5 minutes away from the...
