Riverwalk Food Court — Restaurant in New Orleans

Great Outlet stores where we scored some killer deals. Most outlets we have visited have the same price as what we find in the regular stores like the Gilroy Outlets, while selling last year's items. In this case, it was new products with actual deals hitting serious savings. The place where we practically dropped a paycheck was the Fossil store. We loaded up on 70% off watches and my wife bundled a few real leather purses and zippered wallets at double percent savings. One purse she got was normally $260 but got it for about $53. The styles were still current for this year she said. Also a bonus... We were able to hit the Cafe Du Monde satellite location here for beignettes and coffee. The Riverwalk Outlets are nice and clean. There are some high end shops like Coach and Lagerfeld but also some local places specific to New Orleans. In some ways, it is a hodge podge. The Food Court is on one of the ends and makes it quite a walk if you are staying at the Hilton which has an enclosed walkway to the outlets. I checked and had over 1000 steps from one end to the other. The food court includes Raiding Canes, Pei Wei Asian Express, Auntie Anne's, and Fat Tuesday among others. Went to the Sketches store for some new shoes. Was a little confusing, as it was my first time there, so I was looking in the wrong section (women's)! When I asked about larger sizes, the store clerk pointed out where the men's shoes were! (Would have been nice if there were signs!) But, ended up with 2 nice pairs, at a (to me) reasonable price. Rest of the shoe visit was great!

I also hit the IT'SUGAR! candy store. Very dangerous (lol), as I've never met a gummy I didn't like! Love the selection and the quality! A little pricey, but worth it in the long run!
