I visited this place the other day for a job interview. Unfortunately, they led me to believe I had a shot and led me astray. Steve spoke so highly about this store being FAMILY ORIENTATED but, didn’t give me a chance. I have a family at home, I’m a single mother of 2 children who really needed this job. Instead his son was rude yesterday on the phone when I called and asked for an update. “We not hiring you because, we just wasn’t interested with your interview.” So why led me astray and having me constantly calling, hoping I’d get a job to try to feed my family. Instead that was swept under the rug. People say they're family oriented? In reality they’re looking at for their own family and screwing everybody else over for business. Wouldn’t recommend employment nor business from these owners. Wouldn’t recommend if you’re having a hard time because, they’ll judge you based off CROCS when you can’t afford any other shoes. Not to mention, the son said “Is this the girl who wore those Crocs?” Like it doesn’t matter what I wear. The fact that I was on time and punctual? Should have been enough. It’s hard...

Kids are not furniture. You cannot treat an 8 year old boy like an inanimate object. He still deserves kindness and respect.
I hope the people that work here have better days in the future but we will NEVER spend our money in this...
Read moreThis was one of my favorite markets in Grosse Pointe because it has a very vintage old world charm and offers a lot of high-end grocery products. Nevertheless, on my recent visit to this store, I experienced terrible customer service the cashier rudely told me “go over to the other side”(meaning the other line) and then she proceeded to take another customer right behind me in line. The cashier was an elderly white woman around my grandmother’s age— I am African-American male and the gentleman behind me was a much older white male. I am only writing this review because management showed no concern after I reported...
