I entrusted three pieces of my Mom’s jewelry to Timepiece Mechanix after she passed away. The pieces had meant a lot to my Mom. I knew I’d feel her close while wearing them but each needed skilled TLC. I turned them over to Bill even though I was afraid to part with them for even a few weeks.

My Mom’s small Cartier Tank had been forgotten in a crowded drawer for decades. It desperately needed repair. Bill assessed the damage then, over the next few weeks, he rescued the watch with expertise, care and thoughtfulness.

The result? A Cartier that looked like it had emerged from the 1980s into 2024 in excellent shape! Thank You, Bill, your amazing team and Bernie too, Timepiece’s distinguished Pup! You made the process and pick up day a beautiful experience!

Recently I inherited a cherished family heirloom; an 1890's Stella music box. It had sat for years untouched and deconditioned. As excited as I was to receive it, I was dismayed to hear how out of sorts "she" had become.

Finding someone to help us was another conundrum. It's not like there are schools that crank out antique music box repairmen! I did a LOT of investigating, researching and gumshoeing. When I brought my musicbox to their shop, they were immediately excited to see and hear it. Together they were able to diagnose, repair and refurbish our "dear Stella" to its original sound. (or at least what I imagine it would have sounded like 130 years ago)

I was able to reveal our newly refurbished music box at our annual Christmas party. She made an outstanding centerpiece. My mother and sisters were over the moon at how well she sounded, as were all of the guests. I told Bill that my family is so thankful to both he and Tom for doing such a thorough and detailed reconditioning/refurbishing project. I only wish my dear departed grandfather could hear her heavenly notes. Something tells me that he can from where he is....;")

I brought in two vintage watches, both with a lot more than a few years of wear with one having a lot of sentimental value. One of these watches I honestly thought was beyond saving, but Bill and his team worked their magic and brought it back to life with a complete restoration. It’s like having a piece of history restored right on my wrist.
