Jay Asian Bistro — Restaurant in Cherry Hill Township

Twice now we have ordered take out. Today is Christmas and we had poorly planned on what the plans for dinner were. After browsing on grubhub for a while we decided to once again order from Jays.

The sushi is awesome! We tried the Yummy Roll and the White House Roll, the sushi rice is a awesome texture and the fish isn't oily and does not have a weird after taste. We also had 2 spicy tuna rolls and 2 salmon avocado rolls.

The Bang Bang Shrimp appetizer is amazing! Normally bang bang shrimp are fried, which is ok but really heavy. This place grills their shrimp on skewers and gives the bang bang sauce as a mayo dip. Its a fresher flavor and works really well!

On our previous we have gotten fried rice, dumplings, ramen ext. Everything was delicious. We will definitely be ordering from here again.

This place is very similar to that really good corner mom and pop deli where they have a huge menu but bang out the dishes on it deliciously while also not breaking your bank.

Use to be a long time customer then moved over an hour away called to place a order and the woman who answered very rudely kept asking me if i was sure i wanted to order because i cancelled my last order i said yes i am sure than repeated herself 2 more times after that if i said yes why not just make the food at that point i said it’s not worth my time and i will never order from them again. decided to give this place a try being as though they had tom yam soup. it wasnt the best tom yam i have ever had.. could have been more spicy and more salty. it had a sweet taste to it and im not big on the sweet taste. I also got another dish- seafood delight which has lobster, scallops, shrimp, and mixed vegetables with a white sauce i had substituted for garlic sauce. there was maybe 3 shrimp, 6-7 scallops, and one sad piece of lobster!! being that i had spent almost $25 i was upset about that. i realized why there was only 1 table on a saturday night.. the staff wasnt friendly at all.
