Horrible !!!!!!!! Where do I even begin?!! This has been the worst resort I have ever stayed at !!!! Let me list the reasons why: 1) Cleanliness was minimal. As you walked up to your floor you were greeted by filthy stained carpets, on almost every floor. The balcony was filthy, forget sitting down on one of the chairs wearing a white bathing suit. This can be seen in pictures one and two, below. Additionally, someone decided to defecate on themselves in the middle of the main hall way leading to the pool. In true good management style they had one poor soul cleaning up the entire soiled floor as people walked all over it. Rather then redirecting personal to avoid having guest walk on human feces. 2) The male DJ at the pool was extremely rude! I attempted to go up and request a song for my friends and family and he made it clear with a shake of a single finger saying no, don’t come any closer. As if we were beneath him and could not approach him. Oh, forgive me my lord 😒😒😒😒. Then they bring a second female DJ who finally killed the vibe. Was completely out of touch with the crowd. She had a party with herself in the booth while the remaining guest were clearly not amused by her choice of music. How could she not tell?!?!! And as stated above we could not approach the booth to bring her back to reality. 3) The elevators, oh those elevators! You would wait at least twenty minutes to get an elevator. Only to discover it was packed to max capacity and the elevator made sure to state that out loud. Luckily my family and I were on the 10th and 15th floor. Which meant we would walk five long flights of stairs to get to the pool deck where it would come in 10-15 minute intervals. Lucky us🍀 😒 4) Air-conditioning stopped working! The last night the A/C completely stopped working not only in our room but the four other rooms where my friends and family were staying. When I notified Taylor in the front desk as I was checking out. I was reprimanded by her for not having called the night before at 1 am when I noticed. Rather then apologizing for the inconvenience, she stated it was my fault for not saying anything at that time. Do you think a guest that has been uncomfortable for hours waiting for the A/C to cool down wants to pack all their stuff wait 20-30 minutes for elevators to get moved to another room. Mind you this was experienced by not only me but all my friends and family and other guest I asked in the hallway. Hyde has lost my business after that experience. I will never rent in one of their facilities again. Quite honestly, if I could rate it NEGATIVE five stars, I would. Thanks for a horrible experience this weekend.

Came over for a friend's birthday dinner/hang out. The hotel scored major points for me in the beginning because of the art in the entrance and how modern and polished it look. Unfortunately when we went to the room to visit our friends there was a Disney style line to ride the elevator ride. I'm sure for the people who rent must be a major inconvenience. The room was modern and well kept but the balcony which is supposed to be the best part was messy and looked liked it needed major upkeep. The part that bothered me the most is the fact that when we left the valet person outright tried to steal from us. We validated our parking ticket with the restaurant and they argued with us that we had to pay the full rate. Here is where things got real sketchy. We mentioned that with validation 4 hours after our visit we didn't have to pay or it should be reduced. He stated that he was the supervisor and "he did what he felt". So I reach out to the lobby employee to tell them what's happening and they didn't help at all and just mentioned that the valet is 3rd party. Meaning "they do whatever they want." The man was so nervous that he was stumbling on what he was saying and didn't want to take card because he could only accept "cash". He switched stories several times including saying that they gave us the wrong color valet ticket. All BS to try to keep the money in cash for themselves. In conlusion I seldomely give bad reviews but I can't support a company/hotel that condones their own valet service to pocket customers money. This place needs to clean up their act or they aren't going to be able to compete with the nicer hotels in the area.

We loved this place. I really didn't experience any of the problems I read in these reviews. I stayed in an Air BnB condo. The staff was fine and very accomodating. The elevators might be a little wait, but not terrible considering how heavily they were used. I just didn't buy food or drinks there, it's so close to everything that we went to Walmart & sticked up but there's a million shops nearby. The beach was beautiful. The view from our balcony was incredible, night and day. The condo was very comfortable and nice. The only downsides were probably that the beach chair/towel service closes at 4:30, NOT 5, and you can't move your chair in the late afternoon when the area is partially under a shadow. And also parking is ridiculously expensive - but they don't hide that.

I don’t usually write bad reviews, but my experience yesterday was the straw that broke the proverbial camel’s back. We are staying for a short vacation Thursday to Tuesday. We checked in on Thursday with no issues and the two bedroom apartment suite is nice, spacious and comfortable. That’s where the positive experience ends. The elevator wait is unreal. On Saturday and Sunday, the wait would could take anywhere from 15min-30. With no service elevator, you wait get crammed in with luggage carts. Once the staff refused to let us on to the elevator because they claimed it was “service “ even though they had plenty of space and were going the same way. The pool is located on the 9th floor (which is completely inconvenient because you have to wait 30 min for an elevator to get to the beach). It has no umbrellas and a very limited shaded area. Which forces you to rent cabanas -which also have very limited shade. There is only one restaurant (Terrazas) that services the hotel and once they close, you cannot get room any room service. Which brings me back to the Sunday brunch nightmare experience. On Sundays, they only serve brunch at the pool restaurant ( which is open to the public). There was absolutely no room for hotel guests to sit. You couldn’t get any food if you didn’t get brunch, as only the overcrowded bar served snacks. The staff were completely clueless about what time the brunch ended. We were each told s different time ranging from 4-5:30pm. Oh, did I mention that when it starts to even look like it might rain they kick everyone out of the pool?!! So basically, there was nothing to eat (no room service during brunch), nowhere to sit, and we couldn’t swim. When we finally found a seat and ordered a drink, we waited 40 minutes for our drinks. At which point it started raining hard and everyone started leaving -this is when our server brought the drinks. Needless to say, we left hungry, wet and pissed off and to add insult to injury we had to wait 30 min like idiots for the elevator to come so we can go to our room. To make this long story short- this place has terrible customer service and they really need to get their sh** together logistically. If there are many other beautiful hotels in this area that have more convenient facilities and top notch customer service. Save yourself the headache and...

Please please stay somewhere else! This place is overpriced, dirty, and rude. The website is only a fake facade to lure you in! Their pretty pics are false. Once you arrive you will be so disappointed and disturbed. The rooms are old, under stocked, and dirty. They come with a full kitchen that looks awesome, however there is nothing else to use that makes that kitchen useful. Several phone calls to get more soap, towels, forks, they responded slowly or sometimes not at all. We had a family of six and the room was stocked for a family of 3. The security guards are rude and the one big beefy guard has a power trip complex and likes to treat you like your a criminal though your wearing thier bright pink wrist bands they make you wear. The first night we arrived we had to switch rooms because our room was a disaster! The room looked like someone just partied the night before in there, stains on the floor, wall paper falling off the wall, lamps were broke, blinds were broken just dirty and unwelcoming! I PAID WAY TOO much money to walk into that mess. I complained and they were happy to move us but I had to forfiet my full beach front room for a partial beach view, without getting any money back! Then I get told that the cleaning crew work only once a wk, so that is a scary thought...during this time the cleaning crew should be there doing much more than usual! The only good thing about this place was the view and the pool. The pool was nice and warm, the bar staff were friendly and there was plenty of seating. The beach area you are given 2 free lounge chairs and an umbrella during your stay so that is nice as well, but no pool towels are allowed to be brought to the beach so you must bring them from your room. I feel for the cost this place is a skip and I will not be returning. Overall I really enjoyed the area and weather for December and will start to make this a yearly Christmas vacation for my family to get away from the cold. The location was good and the beach was nice. But I will look into staying at a different high rise, and since there are so many to choose from I will do better research next time around! I would suggest you...
