Terrible Experience at Goldstar Liquors
I recently had an incredibly frustrating experience at Goldstar Liquors that I feel compelled to share. After purchasing a bottle of gin, I was shocked to discover that my card had been charged twice for the same item. When I tried to resolve the issue and obtain a refund, I was met with nothing but resistance and unhelpfulness from the staff.
Firstly, communicating with the cashier was nearly impossible as they didn't speak a word of English, only Russian. This language barrier made it incredibly challenging to convey my concerns and attempt to rectify the situation.
Even when I provided them with the receipt clearly showing the double charge, they categorically refused to issue a refund. It was evident that the only English-speaking individual available was the owner, who, conveniently, was never present when needed.
The lack of accountability and customer service displayed by Goldstar Liquors is utterly unacceptable. It's appalling that they would take advantage of their customers in such a manner and then refuse to take responsibility for their mistakes.
In conclusion, I strongly advise anyone considering shopping at Goldstar Liquors to steer clear. Save yourself the headache and frustration of dealing with incompetent staff and questionable business practices. Champagne selection was vary small and there weren't many tequila choices either. One of the biggest turn-offs is all of the homeless people allowed to sleep right outside the door. I feel bad that there is such a homeless problem in the area but it makes you feel unsafe when there are so many right outside the door. I could've almost overlooked all of this had the staff been friendly. The lady behind the counter barely offered more than a scowl.
