All ways a new staff I went there recently to load a card for my son make cashier admit he doesn't think he did it right but his fellow co worker reference me to the cards company. Then same cashier guy gets into it with another customer. They are not organized and really need more training on cashier and hospitality. Hard looking people working there busy gossiping more than working. I went there a month ago or so they had area were paper plates were blocked with boxes and carts I think around new years or Christmas maybe Thanksgiving but dang so we not supposed to get the paper plates smh . Read moreI actually like shopping at Dollar General, depending on the location. The ones here in Detroit that are located in the hood (where I live), are pretty much ran thru, a lot of shelves are empty, and have not stocked up the pet isle. Wet cat food, treats, and lickables are the main things I look for when shopping here and when they don't have them, it's a wasted trip. Also meaning wasted gas, time, and energy. The ones located in the suburbs surrounding Detroit has a much better selection of items. Not to mention they're much more cleaner and the shelves are stocked. I went in with my uncle and he held my line for me, when I returned as he got closer to the cashier- someone in the line said I can't get in front like that. I told them I was with him and everyone became extremely heated up. They said I was speaking my "Muslim language" and "not today in america" and threw many offensive racist comments toward me as well as profanity. There were two very inexperienced cashiers who didn't even look up to speak to me and instead forced me to go to the back of the line. There was no security and no professionalism.
