First and foremost, I understand psychology to be a subjective format. However, our experience is concerning. We had our, at the time 8 year daughter evaluated for autism. Filled out and exorbitant amount of documentation that we turned in. Sat down with the Doctors and further reiterated our concerns. And feel as though we fell way short. While we are not wanting to “label” our daughter, we do know there are concerns. And we were seeking the best ways to assist her. We spent a large amount of our time speaking to the doctors the day we took our daughter and explaining in detail the concerns. With that said, we truly feel this clinic dropped the ball on our daughter, as of current, she has daily struggles synonymous to the characteristics of an autistic child. We have done plenty of research on the subject and spoken to many who have autistic children and other health professionals; who both agree we are not far off in our assessment. We not only feel that we failed our child, but feel this center did as well. We truly feel our concerns were undervalued. The very small amount of time the staff spent with our daughter could not possibly have given them an ample opportunity to properly diagnose her. And the amount that we are still paying for this service is simply egregious at best. Prior to setting an appointment with this facility we would strongly suggest you do your homework and find a test facility that listens to and understands your concerns, and takes the time needed to properly diagnose your child. Back in 2019, December 6th, I came to see DEIDRA WILLIAMS, CNM. I’ve been dealing with menstrual cramping since 7th grade and I’m 24 years old now. I have a long list of symptoms such as being bedridden, can’t walk to the bathroom or walk in general, nausea, I throw up, uncontrollable shaking, muscle aches, numbness, and muscle stiffness. My list goes on and on… as I’m telling her my concerns and symptoms I’m told this is normal… NORMAL?! I’m a women. I KNOW my OWN BODY! I KNOW when something is WRONG WITH my BODY! After that visit I was disappointed and discouraged. Why go to a gyno when they don’t listen to you? Why go to a gyno when they don’t take you seriously? That was my thought afterwards. She won’t take your symptoms seriously and will try to shove birth control down your throat. Not once did she offer to do any types of tests or anything of that sort. Best advice is visit multiple gynecologist for different options. They were able to find my fibroids through a transvaginal ultrasound, so If you have extreme cramping get an abdominal ultrasound and transvaginal ultrasound. BeAware AVOID AVOID going to this clinic at all means! I took my son in for a vaccine and a New short lady rude doctor that evaluated him was very rude and did not know what she was talking about, when I told her not one word coming out of your mouth made sense she then waited till I left the clinic and called me and had a bad attitude and shut the phone in my face and filed a report to Child Services and lied saying I am neglecting my son. It's good she did that because I have my Lawyer looking into her bs report and do what is necessary to put this rude non professional doctor to a stop before she does this to every other patient that go to this clinic trying to get care!
