Mississippi Mind Trap-Escape Room — Attraction in Hannibal

It isn't very often that I get to take my grandma out for walks... but yesterday, we found ourselves out in Hannibal, MO, in a hidden chamber... I'm not sure how we got there, but my grandma heard there was treasure to be found... when your grandma gets excited about something, you have to entertain the idea, or you might have a depressed granny on your hands... long story short, we found the treasure all because she found the key. We are sending her home happy and richer.. only 1/10th of the cut, though. Love you, nana ;)

We had a great experience at Mississippi Mind Trap. Our game master Angie was very kind and welcoming. She not only helped us through the game but also through some history of Hannibal. We have done more than 30 escape rooms across the country and oversees and I owned an escape room for years. The pyramid theme room, rated near the top. When we arrived the previous group was still in the room, so we were unable to start on time. The staff was nice, but not as excitable or fun as other locations. The lobby is very small, so we waited in our car. There's a video you watch that explains what to expect and is helpful. We only needed 1 clue. There was only 2 of us. I would recommend 3-4 people for this room. The space is small, so more than that will be a tight fit. Overall, we would go back and try...

We did both rooms here this evening and man were they great! The 80's game night theme was outstanding and very well put together! Be ready for a super nostalgic feel when you enter! The Scrooge room had a lot of twists and turns and kept us on our toes even though we were getting tired (totally our own fault)😅 Our Gamemaster, Kameil, was with us every step of the way and so very helpful! She was ready to pull the trigger on a hint the second we needed help! She kept the game fun and was great to work with before, during, in between and after the games! If not for her, we would not have escaped!...
