We are from Colorado staying at Riverbend Resort in Brownsville TX. Our microwave broke in our 5th wheel. We bought an extended warranty (will never do that again) which covers the microwave. I called around using the internet and found only one business that would even consider working with our warranty company. I understand why businesses hesitate working with them because there is a lot of paperwork and rules. It takes more time for the business. However My Repair Center was fantastic. I talked to Vincent. He was incredible, friendly and understanding to our situation. He said he would talk to Haru in their Warranty Dept. They were willing to work and contact our warranty company, Preserve. After contacting Preserve they would only pay for parts and labor but we had to take our microwave out and take to My Repair Center. My Repair Center sent a technician out for a diagnostic for warranty. The technician was very knowledgeable and professional. We took our microwave to the shop and Robert and Veronica helped us finish the paperwork so they could work on it. Nice to see smiling friendly faces even on a Saturday. I have never worked with a business that is so helpful, went over and beyond in their service, friendly, polite, professional and great customer service. I would highly recommend them even if you had to drive quite a ways because they are well worth it. They are incredible!!! I used to work in customer service before retiring. They are an example of excellence! I am not a robot. This...
Read moreI would give this place no stars. We paid 200$ to fix my 42 inch flat screen. We had to take it back multiple times because it was still not working properly and we were told they put new parts. New parts? Then it should be working properly. Well finally received it back but it didn't last long to again start not working properly again. They called and offered to pick it up and see what the problem was again. Our warranty was out already and I really didn't want to go through this again. They called a couple of days ago and now they want 290$ to fix it?!?!? We already put in 200$ now they want to fix it again for 290$? Really? When it should have been fix properly the first time we took it in. I mean if the tv couldn't be fixed they should have told us that instead of dragging this on and on. Fine if it can't be fix then I'll just buy another flat screen but to fix a tv for almost 500$ are you kidding me. Common sense. We can buy a brand new one for that kind of money to repair one. Don't get sucked in this place. I don't know what they did to my tv or even fixed it. I told my husband to ask them for the old part so I would know it was a new part being put in tv to repair but he took it for granted they did. Big mistake. Don't waste your time people. I would try to another place to have anything fixed from here. It will give you stress bringing your stuff here to get...
Read moreHaving recently seen the service truck at my condominium complex, I reached out and booked a service call with Claudia when my dryer stopped functioning. She was excellent, both friendly and professional.
Despite the service technician, Julian arriving more than two hours beyond the scheduled repair window (11:00-1:00), I was still completely understanding, as a call was made to me, albeit also beyond the end of the window.
However, following the less than an hour repair, I was somewhat perplexed at the exorbitant price, $356.68 of the belt replacement on my dryer. Understand, this part is typically approximately $40. The bill, which I had to request, reads “Specialized appliance repair includes special order parts, equipment, or additional labor to complete.” When speaking to Robert Flores about my concerns I was told it was the correct charge for a dryer belt replacement and that following service completion, absolutely nothing could be done to alter the charge. Having owned a business in excess of 20 years, I know this to be incorrect. He did offer to work with me should any future needs arise.
I am leery, at best to offer, even an average rating, for a company unwilling to provide customer service during or more importantly, following the service call. As such, there is likely no reason to ever...
