Queen's Beach, also known as Queen's Surf Beach, is a picturesque section of Waikīkī Beach in Honolulu, located between the Waikīkī Aquarium and the Kapahulu Groin. Named in honor of Queen Liliʻuokalani, Hawaii's last reigning monarch, this beach offers a blend of recreational activities and historical significance.

Activities and Attractions:

Swimming and Snorkeling: The calm, clear waters make it an ideal spot for swimmers of all levels. As part of a Marine Life Conservation District, snorkelers can enjoy vibrant marine life and coral reefs close to the shore.

Bodyboarding: The nearby surf break, known as "Walls," is popular among bodyboarders. The area is marked by buoys, and only bodyboarding is permitted within 150 yards of them.

Volleyball: There are permanent volleyball courts available, often used by professional players. Even if you're not participating, it's a great spot to watch a game and enjoy the surroundings.

Outdoor Movies: Occasionally, the beach hosts "Sunset on the Beach," featuring free outdoor movie screenings on a 1,000-foot screen, accompanied by musical performances and food booths.

Amenities:

Visitors can find restrooms, showers, and picnic tables, making it convenient for a day at the beach. The expansive grassy areas and open spaces are perfect for picnics and relaxation.

Safety Note:

The Waikīkī Wall is intended solely for walking. Jumping off can be hazardous and is discouraged for both adults and children.

Queen's Beach offers a more tranquil experience compared to other parts of Waikīkī, making it a favored spot for both locals and visitors seeking a blend of relaxation...

Amazing beach, it's close to Waikiki but a bit away from the craziness, there are huge grass parks right next to the water that are good for activities from acro to yoga, or barbecuing etc. The water can be rocky instead of Sandy which isn't as nice as the Waikiki beaches, thats one of the drawbacks but the environment is really nice. There's waves for surfing and there's even this small power that you can walk out into. Some people call this beach locals Waikiki because many locals love right next to this beach, and of course it's right next tot he more touristy beaches of Waikiki. The firework display at 7:45pm on Fridays is visible from here, and there's a restaurant here pretty much right on the beach serving pretty great food throughout the day and exotic dishes at night. There's even live music here...

Great place to surf mid spring. Paddle boarding is also great. Life guard is on duty. Also fun for the kids to bring their body board on the shore break. Wouldn't recommend for children younger than three. You can feed the fish bread and snorkel with them just off the wall to the right. There are more homeless in the area so watch your things. Dog friendly and tree friendly(you can hang hammocks and slack lines here). Lots of grassy area if you don't want to sit in the sand. Bathrooms are nearby and showers. Lots of parking available but can be busy on the weekends so you can always park at the zoo and walk over. Also a great place to take...
