Very good food one of the better restaurants in island. Portion sizes are great food is delicious. If there are complaints I would imagine it’s based on personal preferences.

We showed up without a reservation. This place is popular I recommend trying to get a reservation. They were booked but the server pulled some strings and got us three seats at the take out bar. Very much appreciated!

Takoyaki and yakitori: We ordered the takoyaki, very delicious a slightly over cooked but not enough to really change flavor just texture. Honestly I actually might like the firmer outer layer. The chicken and the mushroom skewers are delicious. Perfect cook and the natural flavors are amazing.

Oyakodon: I am a huge fan of Oyakodon. It’s easily my favorite meal and they serve the best I’ve had on island. Eggs not over cooked presentation is great served in a cast iron bowl with a side of rice. The sweetened dashi broth is amazing. Now it is served with more broth than I’m used to no complaints gives you the option of eating it how you would like. Keep in mind I’ve just returned from Japan and had a lot of Oyakodon. The flavor is on point maybe to the sweeter side. The egg is all one texture and cooked fully. I prefer when they add a second egg later in the cook to allow less cooked egg mixed with the cooked egg. Like I warned preference.

Salmon: My son loves ikura so he got the salmon lovers the salmon sashimi and ikura were so fresh and delicious. The tamago was perfectly cooked. The salmon roll was also very delicious.

The menu has sets of nigiri I may have missed it but I did not see options to order individual nigiri. I was there specific or takoyaki and Oyakodon.

This place deserves five stars. They serve delicious food and very...

So I very rarely write reviews but I felt compelled to this time. Myself and my husband have been to this restaurant 2 times in 2022 and 2 times this week-this was because we liked the food so much. Each time the food was excellent. However on the last visit we realised that perhaps we hadn’t been getting the best experience. When one enters the restaurant the main dining area where the ambiance buzzes is on the left. To the right is a small annexed area with three tables and the bar. There is close to zero atmosphere in this part of the restaurant. On all four visits to this restaurant we have been placed in this atmosphere-dead area despite even being promised for the final visit that wouldn’t happen. Clearly we weren’t important enough to be treated nicely. Despite having a lovely waitress on visit 3 who promised that we would get a good table on visit 4, the person who seated us on visit 4 was slightly hostile when we reminded her that we had requested a table in the main area. So the upshot whilst the food is great we will never return since clearly the restaurant does not value our custom-or else we weren’t celebrity enough. Going out for dinner is about more than the food-sure the food is important but so is the experience. All in all a very disappointing end that had been...

Awful service!!!

We had dinner here today and it was 7 of us! Our server never came and asked how is everything tasting, didn’t clear any of the dirty dishes and didn’t even come at the end to bring the bill!

At the end we were told that ther is a policy for the gratuity of 20% for the parties 6 of more. I am always fine with this as all the restaurants have this kind of policy, but not at this restaurant!!! Especially, when our server didn’t even care about us at all.

So we asked if it says anywhere on the menu about this “policy” and they said “ no, it doesn’t say it anywhere but we charge 20% for the big parties as they usually don’t tip enough” - and I definitely understand why they don’t tip enough because the service is awful!!!

For the 20% tip you need to do some work besides standing and watching your customers eating from the table full of dirty plates.

They didn’t void the gratuity for us cause they kept saying it is their policy. So next time if you eat there and you have a party of 6 or more, make sure to ask about the automatic gratuity which gonna be added to your bill either you want it or not!

The food is very good, can’t say anything. But I hope this review will make them to care about...
