Bought a household item from here for $250. I opened it and it had a piece of plastic broken on it. I tried returning it and the serial numbers didn’t match. They finally agreed to exchange it for me. They should, they sold it to me with he mismatched serial numbers! When they go to complete the exchange they said that it shows that it has already been returned! They checked my card I purchased it with and it wasn’t the same (because I hadn’t returned it!). They got a manager for me. She told me they couldn’t do it because of the non-matching serial numbers. I told her I bought it that way. I hadn’t even had it for a day! I then inquired about why it was showing it had been returned already. I was first told it hadn’t and then she checked and it said it had. They gave me the run around and said it was because I had tried to exchange it at a different target (where I discovered the serial numbers didn’t match. They told me to exchange it at Hayward). She offered to call them to see if that was the issue. I said yes please. She got on her walker talkie and 30 seconds later said “yes, that’s what it is”. Never even calling! I was so frustrated at this point. They sold me broken merchandise that had a different serial number than the box and I’m left out of pocket! This was completely unfair. I feel violated and ripped off. All I wanted was what I paid for and for it to not be broken. Don’t go here. Something isn’t right with the merchandise, systems, and apparently management. Not sure why my item was showing as already returned (when clearly I hadn’t returned it) and management didn’t seem concerned with that! I will never shop here again and encourage you to think twice about trusting this...
Read moreI am sure the store is nice. But my experience is from curbside pickup. I had my newborn daughter in the car, and my dog. I ordered curbside pickup from Target. The app gave me no warning that curbisde pick up was not available. So Once the order is ready, I proceed to the store. I pull into the curbside pick up slot and go to the app and tell them I am here and ready to go. So I am sitting in the hot sun waiting for like 20 minutes. I then notice another woman come out and she was also in curbside pick up. I asked her why she went inside. She then pointed to the small sign saying curbside was not available. I could take my baby in the store, but no way was I leaving my dog in the heat of the car. Was a wasted trip. I was very upset. Luckily my older daughter was in the area, and she came and picked up the product for me. Because of this terrible experinece, it just goes to show me that Target does not really care for their customers. So, because of that, they get one star. Would be no stars of I could. Terrible customer service in my opinion. If I had known I could not get my baby bottles and diapers through curbside service, I would have ordered them differently instead of...
Read moreOnly three registers open on a Sunday during peak hours and the self-checkout lady was too busy making sure I didn’t steal anything to provide any customer service for anyone else at self check out meanwhile the security guy is just standing texting at the front door. (He should have been watching me; not that poor girl). Which seems to be the problem, the management wants their people to do so much they’ve become unhelpful. I was looking for soup and asked someone if they had it, only to be told they’ve never carried it and then found out that they had converted it from boxes to cans and that’s why I couldn’t find it. I had to ask a fellow customer for help getting something off the top shelf and another customer for help with a lunch item.
I will say tho all three of these stars are for the lady at the check out line. She was AMAZING given what she had to do. She watched me like a hawk, helped what few guests she could and even helped me get these little dollar pumpkins that now litter my house.
TL;DR: Don’t come here...
