In full disclosure oneâs taste in wine varies greatly, I get it - but for someone whoâs visited +200 wineries in the state and is a bit of a pinot noir connoisseur (& no not a snob) this place was run like a corporate office yet is family owned. Case in point I tried 3 of their â21 pours all were very âbrightâ acidic, tannic but lacking fruit - pretty close to undrinkable not good regardless of rating posted, when I commented after being asked - feedback was sorryâŚthe end - not oh letâs open up another bottle from a different region and try a to align preferences etc feedback was âmy manager wonât let me open up any new bottlesâ, who btw never bothered to engage with me directly nor was any form of goodwill offered except âoh I hope you come back and like it better the next timeâ - wow how obtuse - I was polite, paid and left - there are too many other quality wineries and tasting experiences to waste time...

Regardless of the quality of the wine (and it was good), the staff was cold and clearly unengaged. It felt like they were doing us a favor and really didnât want to spend any time with us.
