I have been going here for in excess of 20 years and have invited many friends and family to join me for what has always been a good meal, I will not be visiting anymore, I was there last Thursday with a friend for a late lunch, there was only one other table that was occupied but there were many more that were dirty and had a collection of garbage on the floor around the tables, the base of the tables looks like they haven't been cleaned in years, I ordered the biscuits and gravy which had always been fantastic on my many previous visits, I was brought a plate with four 1/2-in thick discs and some white sauce with two pieces of sausage visible, the biscuits were not cooked and mushy, I did eat the eggs and bacon and some of the country potatoes and they were just okay, I let my server know that the sausage biscuits were horrible, she defended the kitchen saying that they buy their biscuits premade and reheat them on the grill which was a surprise to me because it looked like they just took them out of the can and put them on a plate, I will not be returning which is a shame because they used to provide good food and good service in a clean...

We come and visit family here in Helena every couple of years and always make it a point to stop in and eat because the food is awesome and the service is even better. Our family has been coming here for the last 25 years. After my experience this morning, I don’t think we’ll be back. I’m not one to gripe and complain about all the small stuff, I can brush that aside and move on but the service we had today was subpar to what is usually the norm. Our waitress did not seem to be very experienced or just lacked the desire to provide the service we expect when we visit here. I don’t expect to have a linen napkin on my lap when dining here, but just to take that extra step in making sure we are taken care of. Once our food came out we never saw our sever again until we were almost done. I cant imagine that’s the way she was trained, I doubt it from our previous experience. I could understand if you guys were slammed but you weren’t. The fruit we got as a side was old and discolored, white pineapple instead of a vibrant yellow. I hope that this can aid in your efforts to improve the service that we have experienced here...

I don't understand how you can make someone wait for their meal for 15 minutes while you're on the phone with your friends .. I also don't understand how you can get the meals wrong after it was a remake cause you messed up the order to begin with... not only did my sandwich taste like mold and cigarettes but it also didn't come with the pickles I ordered, not to mention you charge almost 5$ for a side of fries and you get a smaller order than you'd get from McDonald's. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Applebees may be pricier but at least you get your food right and the staff is nice. If I had the option to give no stars I would. I don't like to complain cause I have worked in the restaurant industry and understand how it goes but at least I had the decency to make it right...
