Dear El Dorado Furniture Representatives,
I would like to express my deep dissatisfaction regarding the delivery process of the furniture I recently purchased. From the beginning, I clearly stated that the delivery was to take place in the city of Ocala, which was also communicated to the sales representatives who assisted me. Unfortunately, they did not seem to have accurate information about the delivery process, despite assuring me that the company was punctual and reliable in this regard.
The delivery company contracted by you has shown a complete lack of commitment to the customer. They change delivery dates and times without prior notice, fail to honor previously agreed-upon time windows, and arrive whenever they want—even as late as 8 or 9 p.m.—after promising a morning delivery or showing up on a different day altogether.
Furthermore, the delivery team lacked the proper skills to assemble the furniture. In the case of the mattress, it was accidentally torn when they removed the protective plastic. While I understand accidents can happen, what I found unacceptable was their attempt to hide the damage, which I consider highly unethical.
Regarding the final item pending delivery—the mattress—it has become yet another source of frustration. Due to the lack of clarity from the sales associate with whom I’ve been in contact, who herself doesn’t know the delivery date and only finds out when the item is picked up from the warehouse (and sometimes even that information is incorrect), I have decided not to continue with the stress of completing this last delivery. Therefore, I am requesting that the mattress be canceled from my order and that the invoice be adjusted accordingly.
While I do like the furniture, unfortunately, I cannot recommend your store due to the poor delivery service and the lack of clear communication from the beginning. I hope this situation is taken seriously and that steps are taken to improve both logistics and...
Read moreI purchased my home furniture last month as I was moving into a new place. The communication was fair, however when the furniture was brought in I had selected a white/beige couch and when it arrived it had dirt all over. The delivery guy got offended when I responded that I want a new piece in because I didn’t pay about 3k couch for it to come all dirty. The guy found a resolution to clean it up as it brought it pads to wipe down the couch. A couple of days with the couch one of the USB stopped working. I put in a request as it has a year warranty and it’s now past a month someone was suppose to come out today to come fix it between 2PM-4PM and no one yet has shown up. I called El Dorado and whoever they have as a reception is unprofessional- first time calling around 3PM to just confirm they are coming she wouldn’t even transfer me to customer service and claim they will be here in the time window but advise me they do not have the number. Now after calling at 5PM the same receptionist tells me if I have the number of the person who called me about two weeks ago to confirm the date/time. I didn’t think this was an info I had to save, the service was assigned by El Dorado so they should have all of this. She then tells me if I want their number so I questioned her due to me asking the first time I called for the number and her claiming they don’t have that info. I come to see the service place closes today at 12PM. It seems like when you pay a good amount of $$$$ you end up with lousy service. Yet when they can they will charge you whatever they need to. The person that has my file on this is Olga and she can never accept my calls when I ask for customer service, has not even called to see what is going on with this. This is truly...
Read moreWorst customer service ever!!! El dorado of Hialeah is just garbage. I bought $3000 worth of furniture. Plus $350 warranty and put %10 down in cash. Im paying extra for delivery from a third party. I was told I was getting my furniture today only to find out that they can’t deliver. I’m 6 months pregnant and tired of sitting on the floor. I spoke to our sales associate to confirm that my furniture was still in the warehouse and he said yes. We offered to pick up the furniture ourselves and we’re told that we couldn’t and that it was their policy for an order over 1500. So I asked for a manger. I was told I’d get a call back in 10 minutes. Nothing. I called back Amd was told they weren’t sure if manager was even in today but that she had my message from my previous call and she would surely give it to him. Still no call back. I showed up in person with my husband and what we receive was rudeness. Not once did the manager apologize or try to resolve the problem. Apparently the driver truck broke down but no one told us this and the e manager didn’t even know this happened. It took us to offer the delivery company $100 more. When we told this to the manager he said it was out of his hands. I then told him it’s the lack of customer service and quality of care that was bothersome and that I was still waiting for his call back. He threw the I have 20 years experience in my face but not once did he try to fix it. So aside from the $3000 for furniture and the $350 warranty.. I paid an additional $250 for delivery. Unbelievably unacceptable and schooled. I suggest any el dorado but this one. Manager should not be allowed to treat customers this way. Kindness and humility go a long way. Never coming...
