Cute little park with plenty of footpaths and a serene setting that borders Turtle Creek and is located in the prestigious neighbourhood of Highland Park. The draw of this park was the unique circular drain with waterfall effect at the end of the creek which seemed like a natural phenomenon but in fact is just an overflow. This makes the visit here worth it. Pictures do not do the spillway justice. The hole in the creek can be found at the end of the park near St. Johns Drive and N. Fitzhugh Avenue. Note: Street parking is available. Dog friendly. Unsure as to how clean the water is for swimming but I have seen people wading in the water and fishing here.

It is a nice neighborhood kind of park. It has a bench next to the water to enjoy. I loved the greens. There were tall trees to give lots of shade. The Ground has some character. It was low around the lake which made it enjoyable to go near the water. Water seemed clean too, though we didn’t touch it. This is a park if you are in the neighborhood. Otherwise it would be a total waste of time to come to a small park with no play area and bathrooms. I didn’t see any fire grills so assumed no bbq here also.

Great place for a picnic or just to sit and relax and enjoy the outdoors. Long grassy area alongside the lake area with trees and a few benches. No playground or bathroom area, so not the most family friendly unless living in short walking distance. One end of the lake has a cool black hole thing. Park is also close to Turtle Creek trail and a few blocks from Katy Trail so it’s a good place to start on a walk or run.

From the point of view of a fisherman I cannot give this place any stars it's really nice and clean very little Trash around the area but I bet the pH level of the water is high I could not buy a bite although I did observe several carp and a couple of bluegills and the report of one Bass Someone caught too much fertilizer on the lungs and way too much duckshit in the water it's not hard to look at but it is difficult to use I'll be better off fishing for single mothers and divorcees I'm going to get off my big tackle box and put my all right away y'all have a good day and y'all going to make me give you at least one star to post...
