I've had 4 or 5 spray tans by S&B and only one has been great. If I could describe this business in one word it would be - inconsistent. You never know what you're going to get regarding the quality, friendliness, and overall level of service. During my spray tan today, the employee mentioned they had me down for "level 2" but didn't take the time to explain what levels and undertones their colors were. She said this was the color I had last time so I assumed it was right. Within a few minutes into the spray tan, I noticed it wasn't the right color and was VERY light. I mentioned this and she indicated the "level 2" was a light to medium shade - this was not what I wanted. She kept spraying me with the 2 and I explained I typically went for a medium shade with an orange-y undertone. The employee/trainee persisted that level 2 is what was in my notes and what I agreed to. This is a false claim as none of the colors or undertones were ever explained to me by her and she suggested the level 2. She continued to say that I chose this color and wanted to argue about it while I'm standing there, fully undressed, and in a very vulnerable state. I really didn't like that and is the part that I'm most upset about. I understand mistakes happen, but the old saying "the customer is always right" should be explained to this S&B employee. Arguing with a customer is never okay, especially when they are fully naked getting a service from you. After getting another employee involved, who also had to see me in the nude, they finally agreed to give me the color I wanted and spray it on top. I am doubtful that it will look good and was told I need to wash it off within three hours versus the normal eight hours. This experience was over the top bad and really makes me never wanna come back to Sugar & Bronze and specifically their Oak Lawn location....

Ladies, it's true: Brazilian sugaring is less painful and safer for your skin than waxing! I highly recommend trying S+B.

I have been a member and patron of Oak Lawn Sugared + Bronzed for about 7/8 months and I love it! The ladies do a great job managing coarse hair and since I have found a specialist to go to consistently, the hair (especially underarm) stays away almost the entire month.

For newbies: The facility is pristine and the prices are reasonable. Gratuity is already included in your monthly membership which makes it easy to budget. You can also cancel/pause the membership as you need to. Notably, the customer service is consistently great. All of the ladies working in-office are pleasant and respectful when dealing with challenging hair.

The last thing about S+B that keeps me coming back is the availability. I don't know how they manage to do this operationally, but I am able to make last minute/same day appointments all the time and add services without issue. I've had a very different experience with all of the above at other Sugaring and waxing salons so I'm happy to see more locations opening around the country. (Orlando and...

Sugared + Bronzed is a game changer in the business. The spray tans are always perfectly applied (never uneven, orange or smell bad)

The entire staff is incredibly sweet, professional and care about their clients. I always feel incredibly comfortable getting my tans. They are very accommodating when you need to reschedule (even last minute!) and are very understanding when you let them know you’re running a few minutes late.

The salon is always clean and the waiting area is adorable! They also have front row parking for their customers (which is bonus in Dallas!)

I love all the products they sell as well. The girls working always help me choose the best lotions and soaps to help extend my tan. The quality is great and the products are super affordable too! I also purchased my favorite pair of jogger sweatpants from this location- they are perfect to wear to your tan or even lounge at home in.
