We had chosen Coupes for a Mom's Happy Hour for our local private school. I reached out a few months prior to see if we could reserve the front area, as there could be 15-18 of us, but they said we would need to do a partial buyout , preorder food and have a $65 minimum per guest. We opted to just make a simple reservation for 3 tables of 6. They reached out the day before to confirm it wasn't a duplicate, I explained our situation, and the manager said she would try to accommodate us in the front space but made sure to inform me several times that this area warranted a minimum per each guest with preordered food. So much so, I was considering moving our party all together because of the treatment I received prior to even walking into this establishment.
Fast forward to the next evening, we arrive and there was only 1 or 2 parties of 2-4 people in the entire restaurant. We were thrilled to have the place basically to ourselves. We had a great waiter who was very attentive and accommodating to a larger party. He was also very accommodating and allowed for each of us to be on a separate check. We didn't' realize tip was included, but had no issue tipping beyond what was already built into our tab. When a few of us went to leave, their security guard blocked the door and told us we were not allowed to leave. I was shocked, I thought something terrible had happened and we were on lockdown for some reason. Turns out, the manager was blocking anyone from leaving saying we didn't pay our tab. The waiter rushed over to say we paid and to let us leave. We did still have 10 women who hadn't paid, as they were still eating and drinking, and continuing to order.
I had never been treated so poorly in a restaurant, let along, have had someone basically hold us hostage for no warranted reason. There was maybe 10 total customers come in besides us for the 2-3 hours we were there. We were polite, ordered plenty of food and drinks, paid our tab, etc. Do not waste your time or money here, as they treat their customers...
Read moreSome friends and I came here for a celebration and we did our best to make a lackluster experience positive but it was a challenge. The best things here are the decor and some of the champagnes. The customer service was subpar. Not terrible but it definitely could have been better, especially considering that there were only about 4 other tables occupied in the entire restaurant. Now on to the food. We ordered many appetizers and at best a few were edible and at worst disappointing! What stood out to me were the caviar eggs. They give a new meaning to “deviled”. They were certainly God forsaken…and I’ve had caviar before so that wasn’t the issue. The egg tasted like what I imagine a rotten egg would taste like. Overall we all expected more. This place really needs to step up their game because in a city like Dallas there are always restaurants that are literally serving and...

I believe they’re known for their burger too! 🍒 THE VIBE: vintage but modern at the same time? Lots of pink accents. More spacious than you would think. The bar is the center piece! More on the girly side but also could be great for a date night. 🍒 PRICE: ~$25 (I don’t remember) 🍒 WOULD I COME BACK? Yes! •••• Overall Rating: 9/10 The perfect place for a girl dinner and yap! I absolutely loved this place. We got complimentary champagne when we walked in so we didn’t order a drink but I would definitely come back for champagne because the ambiance is literally immaculate! The salmon toast was amazing!!! @malxxmg loved the fries I thought they were slightly soggy but overall pretty good! The vibes really sold me but the upscale service and food presentation will...
