Shadywood Park is a quiet park within a nice neighborhood. Right next to Eastwood Elementary School. It's super doggy friendly with many doggy bag stans, in case you forgot your own doggy bags. There are many trails for you to walk your dog on. There are plenty of picnic areas throughout the park for many families to come and enjoy themselves with a nice little picnic or a BBQ. There are plenty of benches provided. There is also a pavilion that offers plenty of shade. There is also a playground right in the middle of the park for kids to play on. There are swings, slides, etc. There are plenty of activities for your kids to have fun. There is a restroom structure right next to the parking lot, for the public to use, as well as a public porta potty.

A pretty basic no-frills park but as the name suggests, there are a lot of shady trees. An undercover shelter, lots of benches around, a decent sized play structure in the middle. A dedicated parking lot and other parking around the park as well. And a couple restrooms. That just about explains it!

If you enjoy seeing off leash dogs in taxpayer funded public parks that were actually intended for all to use then you will LOVE this park! There is an off leash dog (or two!) every time, and I mean that, literally every time we come to this park. Usually the dogs are close to the playground, or on school property playing fetch next to a large sign that says "NO DOGS ALLOWED BEYOND THIS POINT" So exciting and adorable!

Keeps me and my small vulnerable children on our toes while we enjoy...

This park is a gem. We found it as one of the parks in the area. We love how there is a lot of shade in the evenings. We also love how there is a lot of space for our toddler to run around. I think it would be nice even without kids, and I think it would be nice to have a picnic there, though I have never done either.it’s very clean and taken care of well. I’m surprised that we don’t see more people...
