This is my favorite theater to visit, hands down. It's very clean and comfortable, they have plenty of games and things to keep you entertained if you arrive early (or want to stay awhile after the feature), and plenty of opportunities for souvenirs, including a photo booth! (My personal favorite is the "play until you win" claw machine with cute rubber duckies and golden eggs with a tiny plastic surprise inside. And I'm an adult. Grins.) The staff is warm, friendly, courteous, professional, and patient with folks who need a little extra time, and they greet regulars like me with an extra big smile. The seating is ridiculously comfortable, with plenty of legroom (and hiproom for ample folks like me), and the seats recline! The concession stand is like a mini restaurant, practically, with everything from the usual popcorn and candy to warm treats, ice cream treats, and even adult beverages (limit three). If you're in the area and looking for a truly awesome movie-going experience, or you're taking your special someone on a date, this is a must see spot. Seriously, the customer service at this location is out of this world. Special shout out to Ale' and Riley. You guys made my day! (The rest of you guys are super-awesome too.)
Edit: I haven't been to this theater for awhile, due to my crazy life, but I went in tonight for a movie date with the hubby.
Alè and Riley just happened to be there.
I haven't seen them in months, but they remembered me, remembered my name, and gave me a super-warm greeting when I had had a seriously difficult day. I needed that.
Dood.
Management just needs to go ahead and give them a raise, or the keys to the castle, or something.
I love you Alè and Riley!
This theater never fails to be 100% awesome.
Seriously, do yourself a favor and come watch a movie here. ALL of the staff is great, it's a beautiful venue, and the concessions are amazing, too. Before you ask, no, I wasn't paid for this review. I just love this theater. Clearly. If you've read my other reviews you would know that I don't pull my punches if I don't enjoy...
Read moreGiving 2 stars because we did get tickets to see the show again.
We went for the Wicked early access premiere, and with any premiere, I was anticipating loud people and possibly some singing in the audience. That's to be expected. We wish that had happened!
We had 2 women a row behind us and 5 seats to our left that were openly and loudly talking, hocking lugeys multiple times, making moaning sounds that did not sound appropriate, and talking about how they felt like they could throw up. Every single thought that crossed their mind was verbalized LOUDLY.
People in our row kept turning around, and I shushed the women 6 different times. I know they heard me, because they stopped talking for a few minutes after the first time, then decided to actively ignore me. I tried to handle it on my own so that I didn't have to involve the theater, but really, that's their job. I left to tell an attendant.
They continued talking, and no one from the theater approached them. I felt bad for the people directly in front of them because we were a good distance and could hear every word.
My husband was not happy because he spent the entire movie focused on how disruptive they were and (nicely) asked an employee if there was a way we could get a refund or new tickets. The employee sighed and his demeanor was that we were the problem and that he didn't really want to help.
He said "they were not talking when our attendant went into check." Either that attendant was in there for 5 seconds, or they did not go in because it was happening the entire movie. His attitude seemed to be "look, you chose to come to a movie premiere, this happens" but I don't think he understood just HOW bad it was, and he also wasn't trying to hear us or find out why we were upset.
Once I asked if we should go through Fandango for a refund, he sighed and said he would give us new tickets. He acted as if it was painful. I'm happy we got new tickets, but it left a sour taste in my mouth that we were treated like an annoyance because the theater did not properly do their job of approaching...
Read moreThe Regal Tuesday prices are $7.99 up $2.95 from a couple years ago. Tisdale is the best day to get popcorn since it's 50% off. The seats in auditorium 11 are reclining chairs and there's a lot of space between the front and back. Side to side space is normal. There's games and a photo booth on the sides of the front area.
