My dad wanted to eat here because his mom used to make Subgum Chicken Chow Mein and when he saw they had the same dish on their menu, he decided we should try it.

I doubt we will ever be back or recommend it.

I'll start with mine. I had the Sesame Chicken. I have never had Sesame Chicken where the sesame seeds were inside the "egg" batter. It sounded interesting, so I thought I would give this alternative a try.

The batter was not great. I prefer it a bit more egg so it's crispier. This was on the bready side. But, with sesame seeds inside the batter, it created a weird texture and disappointing mouthfeel. It especially discomforting to feel the breading slide down while swallowing and actually being able to feel the graininess of the seeds inside bread.

My Sesame Chicken did not come with any sauce. Always before, it's accompanied by a golden and/or brown sweet sauce. Instead, the served the normal red-colored sweet sauce. That was disappointing, too. I like the sweetened chicken broth, vinegar, and sugar sauce that it normally comes with.

My pork fried rice was good, but the pork pieces were so tiny, I couldn't even bite them.

I also had the BBQ Pork Soup. The base soup was bland. The BBQ pork pieces were very dry and chewy.

My dad's Subgum Chicken Chow Mein had very little sauce and not very much chicken. He was very saddened when he realized this was not even close to his expectations for a favorite dish his mother made. Dad also had the Hot and Sour Soup and said the flavor of that was neither hot nor very sour.

As I said before, I don't think we'll return. It was just too disappointing and the flavors were...

My family has been eating here for 40+ years, and since the remodel it’s been terrible food and even worse service from the guy at the register. He asks if you’re paying cash, and when you say no, he repeats again, YOU PAY CASH? Umm, no, I’m using a debit card.. then seems very annoyed. He did this to me and the next two people that came in. They closed the booth section for boxes of who knows what. It appears to be a storage room now.

I got takeout, and didn’t eat more than a 1/4 of it. The pork fried rice is so bland and big clumps of gummy rice. It had 4 tiny pieces of pork sprinkled on the top and NONE throughout the rest.

Sweet and sour chicken takes like fish sauce and hard batter.

General Tso chicken was the most edible of the four things I got.

Egg flower soup, I tried to season it, but not worth waisting my time.

Save your money! So disappointing, this used to be the best Chinese in...

My family and I have been coming to this restaurant for 30+ years. We went to have dinner tonight and the waitress was SOOO RUDE!!!! Every time we asked her for something she seemed so annoyed and would roll her eyes. In all the years that we’ve been there we have NEVER been treated this way. She also came to our table when it was 8:30pm and told us she was picking everything up because they close at 9pm and mind you we were still eating. There were 2 gentleman sitting a few tables away from us and not once did she tell them something and I could tell her attitude was different with them. Makes me sad but we will NEVER return. Also their portions of food are a lot smaller and price has gone up quite a bit. If the waitress continues to treat people this way they will loose customers. (As we were leaving we mentioned to her the way she made us feel and instead of apologizing...

Food ranges from pretty okay to decent. Used to be better. Service is very abrupt, when you call in they get right to the point, and when you pick up it's the same. Only business, no small talk. I don't feel it's rude like others in these reviews seem to. I'm reviewing to express my frustration at their pork fried rice. Over the last two years every time I order pork fried rice there's less in there. Started ordering extra, got charged for it, less pork than before. Last week I ordered pork fried rice. I was charged extra for the pork. There was exactly zero pork. I'm not going to stand at the register closely examining my rice to make sure there's pork or enough pork. But after 7 or 8 times of just getting very little pork, and now none. Only so many times I can get burned. I just want the pork fried rice I've paid for.

Such an excellent Chinese restaurant with wonderful service! A great place to sit and eat during COVID. I called Dancing Dragon to see if they would take reservations, and the man answering the phone was helpful. He had a table ready for us when we came in fifteen minutes later, and answered any questions we had about the menu. He brought us our food quickly and kindly, even indulging in a bit of small talk. The food itself tasted great. More memorable to me than at a lot of other Chinese restaurants. I enjoyed the appetizers, especially the egg flower soup. The lo mein noodles had an addictive soy sauce flavor. I got the scallop sauté as my personal choice of meat, and the sauce they used had a delicious flavor. I devoured my food quickly and I'm still thinking of it right now.

Was OK. I know this place gets a higher rating than Dragon Fountain but I found the food to be a bit bland. Not as salty or even full of flavor as other places. I was the first customer of the day. So It may have been that first food in clean dishes taste? But good experience. Nice place good service. I had sweet n sour chicken show mean pan fried noodles and pork fried rice. The rice was barely fried however. If I had to choose. I would go to fountain. But, I would choose this place over most Cantonese places I been. Probably top 10 places I have eaten at for Cantonese.
