Brothers Furniture Warehouse — Attraction in Hillside

This was the worse business I have every been too, first I place my order on a Saturday the guy told me call him on Monday for a delivery date. I waited until Thursday to call, when I called the first time he said he will call me back never did then I called again he said he will call me back never did. I waited again until Monday when I called he said he wanted me two call him back in an hour he is working with a customer. I did not believe him so I drove two the store, when I got there he was not doing anything (I live a minute away). Finally on Thursday he stated he had my furniture and will ship it out that day or tomorrow, they delivered it on that Thursday. I had a balance to pay, when I went to the store on Monday he stated don't worry about the balance you can pay it after they deliver it. He called me right after they deliveried it (at around 8pm) and asked about the balance I said I will come 2 the store and pay it the next day. That morning I get a knock on my door from the delivery people saying they want the balance or they have to take back the furniture, The guy said they would have two take the furniture I talked 2 the sales person and he said because his boss told him he should not have delivered the furniture without payment he could not let the stand stay there without the money. I was at work and my sister was there and I did not have money on my debit card two pay over the phone so I could not go to the store, I said I would pay it wants I get off work (like I told him the day before). I was so mad I just cancelled the order, please don't shop there they are ghetto and have terrible...

THIS PLACE IS A SCAM!!!! I am guessing the positive reviews are written by their friends and family our they are are fake reviews. We bought a couch from them and wanted to follow after weeks of not hearing from them and we wanted to cancel and get a refund. At the back fo the receipt it indicates a full refund if they are not going to deliver by the date orginally agreed upon. When we called them they said the deliver will be in another 3 months and its not them its Ashley furniture fault since they are buying directly from them. We went there to demand a refund and then they said there is a 30% restocking fee for something we have never received. This was by far the most aggravating and frustrating experience we have ever encountered. the worst customer service ever. I ended up calling the cops and they said I did the right thing by not escalating the situation any further with them. we ended up leaving and never received a refund and call the credit company to dispute it. if we do not get the refund we will be taking legal action just to prove a point. I am not sure how many people they must have done this to but this is absolutely ridiculous. I wanted to give them no stars as a rating but in order to write this review you have to select one.

Do not go here to purchase. Worst...

I went into the store looking for new furniture for my new apartment. After purchasing the items, Daniel asked me if I needed movers. He quoted me a price and I paid for it. No issues arised until the day of the move. 1, they were late (i had a window of 10am -2pm) they showed up at 4pm. 2, they went to the wrong location (they went to my new address) 3, they broke my bedframe on top of it. 4, when I called the office to make them aware the first words out of Daniel's mouth was 'This is why I don't like moving people'. I had to remind him, I didn't ask for movers I was looking for furniture. We finally get everything else in the truck and moved. The next day I go to the office with the broken piece to talk to them about fixing it. Daniel takes it and say's we'll fix it. About a week goes by and the piece is good, now when I ask Daniel to come down and put my bed back together since his employee's left it in my room in pieces, he said 'can't you put it back together, the movers aren't available.' So now I have a bed in pieces in my room with a mattress sitting against the wall. I paid for the movers to take apart, put back together and move my furniture. Not break it in the mean time and leave me with the headache. NEVER AGAIN will I shop there, poor attitudes lead to...
