7/27/2024 I just had the worst experience at this store the ladies behind the jewelry counter are liers and not helpful at all! I wanted to purchase 4 necklaces totaling over 80.00 one was untagged so they couldn't sale it to me and took it to the back they where closed the next day so I could not come back I asked if they could ship it to me they said no. Because i was only in town for one day found the store manager Sandy and she tagged it for me which upset them. When I got back to pay the had put one of my necklace behind the counter and said it was sold while I was gone the friend I was with put all the necklaces with the items she had on hold. I was about to leave and a customer I didn't know but saw and heard what was happening approached me outside and told me that she saw her put it behind the counter well I went and spoke with the manager again and let her know what the customer had just told me and she told the manager that she put it on hold for another customer their policy is to only hold items for 30 minutes we waited for 30 minutes to see if it would be purchased then the ladies behind the counter said oh it has been paid for I told her you did not say that 30 minutes ago when the manager spoke to you so I found the manager again and asked her if she was told that the necklace had been paid for but left behind the counter so she let me stand there for 30 minutes I would not have waited 30 minutes knowing that it had been paid for meanwhile no one came and picked it up. these women did not want me to have this necklace when strange customers come up to you and defend you something is very wrong with the way customers are treated in this establishment I would have spent well over $200 but it was not worth it to them because their pride was hurt by me going over their heads I will not be going back they're unaccommodating...
Read moreI have shopped here for over 2 years and never had an issue till today. I picked up a small blue bowl that was priced at either $2 or $3. Held it in my hand as I continued shopping. Went by the jewelry counter and asked to see a green plate. I decided to buy both, but the tag fell off the blue bowl (it was scotch taped on). I told the woman behind the jewelry counter it was either $2 or $3. The woman behind the jewelry counter (Jane) grabbed it out my hands so fast.....and said she can't sell it without a tag. So I said it had a tag but it fell off. Asked if she could just retag it....she said she would but it would be $7. (the other item I was buying was $7 and I guess she just thought she could increase the price on me because she felt like it). I was not about to pay $7 for the blue bowl when it originally tagged $2 or $3. I paid $7 for the green plate and was on my way, when another shopper stopped me in the furniture section and told me that he just had the very same issue with the same woman! I inquired at the front cashier as to who is in charge of the shop, and was told it's Sandy, but that Sandy was out today. I have spent a lot of money in this store over the years, and I was not asking for any special treatment or reduction in pricing. Just to be treated with honesty and respect. In closing, I will say that everyone else in that store has always been helpful and pleasant, But in the future I will NOT buy anything from that jewelry counter. Also......read the review from Lola Ellard down below. I have a feeling it was the same woman as her issue was also at that jewelry counter. Coincidence? I think not. Sandy -...
Read moreVery disappointed that this thrift store does not allow children. I had planned on checking out this shop with my three children, my mother in law and my sisters-in-law while on vacation. But we were turned away by two elderly women on the porch saying the kids can’t come in the store. To claim to have a Christian mission and to donate to charities is great, but if you’re not allowing moms to come shop with their children, I can’t support or recommend you. I understand some stores have a policy that discriminate against children, but I have never before run into this and in my opinion, a thrift store should be the last store with this kind of...
