I have to say, I was craving lunch one day and stumbled upon this little gem. Order at counter for take out or eat in, prices fair, and they usually have a couple running specials. Food is prepared quickly, assuming it’s prepared ahead of time and heated or finished cooking upon order. Good variety on the menu, rice and beans as a side staples or have the option to change sides. Pictured below is the #7 combo, chili relleno and chicken enchilada. As you can see the enchilada is a fair size and loaded with seasoned chicken. The chili relleno is composed of a mild green pepper cooked to a soft consistency stuffed with melted cheese and a light batter coating. Most of the meals come with a mild red sauce over the top with a melted shredded cheese blend. Flavors are authentic and fulfilling. With each order comes deliciously salted tortilla chips. Their cheese dip is delicious, rich, and better than any queso I’ve had elsewhere. The small size is good for one person or I’d recommend the large size if it’s being shared between 2-4 people. If I could truly rate based on the food I would give it a 4.1 for quality, taste, and timeliness. My other reasoning for 4 stars is the styrofoam container gets placed in the microwave for quick heating and melting the shredded cheese and will occasionally bubble the container. According to Harvard health dioxins are the toxic chemical released from plastics when actually burned so heating styrofoam in the microwave is currently deemed relatively safe however still...
Read moreI had a hankering for Mexican and found some pretty great reviews of this place. It's located in what looks like a barren strip mall with some seating outside and plenty of inside seating. I ordered the Fiesta Tostada with chicken ($7.70): shredded chicken served atop one corn tortilla (the size of a plate), with black beans, shredded lettuce, sour cream, guacamole and cheese. A small side of corn tortilla chips comes with it. Make sure to stop by the salsa bar and load up on the offerings there: pico de gallo, tomatillo, cilantro, lime wedges, etc. The pico de gallo is fresh and so tasty that I went back for more! The tostado was flavorful, yet not spicy (perhaps one of the salsas could add more kick) but exactly what I wanted--and I ate it so quick that I forgot to take a picture of it. ;) I'll definitely be going back on my next...
Read moreTried out Fiesta Fresh after a nice beach day and the whole family couldn't decide what we wanted. Fiesta Fresh seemed like a pretty easy fast Mexican type food. We were all initially a bit unsure, but the lady at the counter was extremely friendly and asked my kids orders and offered alternatives on items. The food was good quality and the salsa bar was fresh. The place is clean and neat. While here several of the staff spoke with us and checked on things and were all very friendly.
I had the steak tacos (very street taco style), my wife the enchiladas (and she was glad to get some she loved after a recent failure at another place), daughter a flour taco she enjoyed and my son a quesadilla (he actually enjoyed the meal in spite of initially protesting the location). Chips and salsa were...
