My son turned 9 this past weekend. All of his birthday parties in the past have been at home, since it’s so expensive to have them at a facility like Big Air. He begged and begged to have his party at Big Air this year, but I told him no until I found these coupon deals on the Local Flavor app. So you can imagine how excited he was when I told him that we would take his friends there for cosmic night but have cake & gifts at our home before going. I purchased 5, $45 coupons. (pictured below) Each coupon is for 4 jumpers, one hour each, a pizza, and a pitcher of drinks. We got to Big Air on Friday, August 30th, I had 5 adults with me, split up all the kids so each adult could use one of the coupons. (Trying to save money) When I told the manager that I had these coupons she said that I couldn’t use them for cosmic night. That cosmic night is a minimum 3 hour jump, from 8-11pm, and these coupons were for 1 hour jumps. Nowhere on their website does it say that cosmic night is a MINIMUM 3 hours of jumping. I just assumed it was from 8-11 and you could purchase an hour or 2 just like you can any other time. I showed her the fine print on the coupons, again NOWHERE does it say that you can not use these coupons on cosmic night. It even states in the description that Big Air offers Cosmic nights, but nothing stating that this coupon could not be used during cosmic night. We even spoke to the owner and he wouldn’t accept them. We were told, “I guess you need to ask Local Flavor for a refund.” Needless to say, we had to pay for 19 kids to jump on cosmic night. My son, had to hand over his birthday money to help cover the cost because he said he still wanted to jump with all of his friends. I could understand if I brought 4 kids with me to jump, but that wasn’t the case. In the past I’ve purchased multiple $100 jumping cards, brought a lot of my friends and their families to visit Big Air with us over the summer, a couple of them have even had their children’s birthday parties there after our visit. We were loyal customers but now I will not be supporting a selfish company like this ever again! I’m very...
Read moreThe activities in this place are extremely fun. You can’t get bored here. There’s plenty to keep your kids and you occupied. But in my particular experience I wanted to take my kids out after dinner. We decided on Big Air. It was a about 7:00pm when we arrived. By the time we signed into the computer screen waiver form and got through the line to pay, it was 7:15pm. I told the man at the counter that I wanted to pay for three people for an hour and a half which was $22 per person. He said that wasn’t possible. That since it was past 7pm that he could only sell me passes for “last hour” because cosmic jump was starting at 8 which would’ve been $17 per person. I then asked him if I paid for the last hour would we be able to stay for the full hour I’d paying for since it was already almost 7:20pm. He said that’s not the way it works. That, essentially, if I wanted to stay past 8pm then I would have pay for the time before cosmic jump and after cosmic jump. Which would have been an extra $25 dollars for anytime after 8pm. I then explained to him that if I am paying for an hour than I’d better get an hour. I told him that I was not going to pay for an hour if I wasn’t going to get the full time frame. Then the other employee at the desk said that they could give me thirty minutes for $9 per person. And everyone knows thirty minutes to kids just isn’t that much time. I decided just to take the 30 minutes since by this time it was almost already 7:30pm. And while they were signing me out a key to one of the lockers another man come up and was complaining about the exact same issue. I just think it’s bad business. I think if you show up after 7 but before 8 that you should pay regular rates period. And that however much time you paid for before 8 that you should get that time frame. So I ended up paying $40 dollars for the 30min per person, socks and a locker. But if they would’ve just sold me the three hour and a half time frames I wanted and let me jump those whole time frames. They could’ve made $80. So in this case and I’m sure many other cases they hurt their...
Read moreMan where to start.. 1st time at the location and highly not impressed. So 1st the system was down so that wasn’t a big deal. It’s a business and ish happens. So we jumped for a little bit. And then went to eat. Here is where everything goes wrong. The fires boy was that tragic! We ordered “SEASONED FRIES” which are $4. and babyyy it was not cooked. Not seasoned. Some parts where just plain raw. It was like cardboard. No flavor or taste. Mozzarella sticks where bad. Nothing great to speak about. So we had a group of about 7 kids. Now you would think that when placing the order the person at the register would have pointed out that it made sense to buy the family meal. Instead he sold us all singles with soda. I’m not saying you got to up sell but brooo help me help myself.. if you know that you have a special that makes a lot more sense than ordering single dishes why in Jesus‘s name would you not offer that. Make it make sense! So then we got the nachos. Bruhhhhh!! It taste like old oil even with the cheese on it. The after taste wasn’t popping. Them nachos WASNT IT AT ALL! Wouldn’t recommend that either. The cinnamon sticks are ok not as good as I expected… they are a little burnt and we ordered 3 sets. The soda was not very strong but still taste good. Collectively the pizza was the best part of the wholeeeeee meal. The cheese was cheesing!! It was hot and ready! Sounds like a lil Caesars commercial 🤣🫣.. but honestly that was the best part. Oh and the candy was apart of the list of taste good items! Can’t go wrong there.
