Be careful, I have had problems at both of the stores I have gone into. Hwy 5 has slick concrete floors and if you have on flats you can go down. They also had a Rusty Wire coming out of the floor I didn't see. I backed up to look at something and the wire went in my shoe and nearly pulled me down. Thank God it did not cut my foot because of the rust. They came and told me that they had tried to seal it many times but it kept popping up. They didn't even do a report on it. They called maintenance and he pulled this long section Up and cut it off. He left but came back up behind me and beat the floor with a big hammer making a loud noise which made me jump and twist around. I pulled something in my back and I went to the check out and told them. They said sorry. I told them I was a first time customer and would not be back after them trying to kill me. I can't believe the employees have to work on that floor. I asked if they had to wear nonslip shoes. They said no but if they had a accident they would loose their jobs. The Hiram store at least has carpet squares down. They are very under staffed. You spend a lot of time trying to find someone to ask questions or show you something that is locked up. I fell over a pallet at that store and the manager made me fill out the accident report but they still have not paid for the hospital bill from my wrist having to be braced. Cool idea for the stores but they need to hire a person to check for dangerous situations. I did hazmat and EPA and anything that could be a problem I wrote it up and it got fixed. OSHA should go in and look around these stores. I bet they would close the doors until they fixed something's. Buyer Beware..... Use caution especially if you have children with you. They can get into things that should not...
Read moreUsed to enjoy shopping at these but past few times, I felt some of the stock was overpriced compared to same items located at walmart, other competitor stores at cheaper price, plus on more than one occasion now, we had to return items for missing parts or other problem. They don't advertise as such, but based on our experiences, starting to think perhaps there stock are items returned by others? Just really check out what you're buying. If the boxes seemed previously opened then re-taped, then just keep these things in mind, it may be a previously returned item, and may indeed be missing some parts or have some other problem. However, I will have to say, the times we did have to return something, staff were friendly and helpful with no issue. Only thing I did not like about that process was that it took them 3 days to credit back the funds to my debit card. Whereas most other stores, (at least in my fortunate eperience), funds were...
Read moreExcellent store for great things at magnificent prices. When you can't find what you need at one bargain hunt, you will find it at another. The club programs helps add on money that can be deducted. This comes from previous purchases which you apply to a purchase. Excellent program with great service from the employees. One employee at bargain Hunt, Hiram, I believe her name is Madison, just got promoted and I can tell you it is well deserved. This young lady remembers her customers by name, is always helpful, looks out for the customer as well as the needs of the store. She is a delight with great interpersonal relationship skills. Well done Bargain Hunt, Hiram and to Madison 2 thumbs...
