Best Western Hiram Inn & Suites — Hotel in Hiram

We have been dealing with an overflow since December 21 2022.finally get our wall's up and painted then servpro suddenly tell's us we have to be out of our house by 10 am check in is not until 2:30pm 91 senior grandmother, myself and grandson begged the earliest they let us in finally after mykey accomodations through liberty mutual insurance adjuster has confirmed June 29th 2023 for 2 day's 25th & 26th. We had all proper paperwork again, I.D. set up to go I'm in a hurry, hot, hungry, tired we had the DBL room's with kitchen( no stove) small kitchen sink small fridge in both rooms, microwave in both rooms couch with the DBL bed's half kitchen. The reason is:::: (our story best western was rude about 2stars)as I'm having to bring a honey baked ham box of groceries in that had all of our dry and cold food and drinks and plates the kitchen was not set up. I had one big suitcase had 2ppl clothes and 1 small suitcase, couple of small bag's had medicine cause all 3 of us takes medication her little personal crossword fine bag with pens and activities, laptop. I was ⁉️ question on how much more stuff (baggage) I had staying for just 2 nights??? We were being watched like a hawk and we were the next room over from the front desk. I was told over and over just keep the room clean make sure the rooms are clean I don't know if they were judging us because we looked rough coming in or didn't drive a brand new car. I didn't even want to come out of our rooms at all... We ended up having to have another night out home was not ready still not fully completed. I wanted to swim the pool was cloudy and the far side of the swimming pool wall was nasty 🤢 but there was a sighn that said please shower before entering the pool not onetime did I see anyone out there with a net or anything 😔 but I'm ❓ question told just keep the room clean and they did not like that I told them I would bring my towels down and exchange them. Their continental breakfast did not say what was on the menu. I seen no ham. They did have good pancakes and yogurt and plain bagels plain cream cheese. It was ok I guess better than nothing I noticed not to many guest were coming down. Just felt like you couldn't breathe being watched all the time no space very...

This place took us in last minute, because the hotel we had booked at looked more like a crack house. So we called this place up and they were able to get use booked in immediately which was a BIG life saver for our already ruined vacation! The facilities are clean, the landscaping is well done and tasteful. They were very friendly at the front counter. We had my sister in-law and nephew staying with us, so we asked for some extra towels and shampoo and conditioner. They provided all of these immediately. We were able to cook up some left overs in the room using the microwave oven and some paper plates. We discovered that a previous guest of the same room had also eaten in the room and they were not very tidy with their food. Neither did the housekeeping manage to clean up some of the food as there were some dried up Asian rice noodles on the floor, see the picture. The AC keeps kicking on and it is very loud, but I suppose this is to be expected in the south. I did have a little hard time sleeping because of all the noise, but it wasn't just the AC. Turns out my sister in-law was also snoring loudly. Nothing the hotel could have done about that. In any event, the breakfast was pretty average hotel breakfast. Not much of a fruit bar, but at least they didn't have that nasty big bowl of fruit salad soup and syrup. Apparently some of the guests were having issues with their pancake batter dispenser, although I didn't use that. When getting ready to head out, my wife was using the hair dryer and it sounded like a lawn mower! Then the hair drier sparked and a few seconds later the whole room smelled like a fire. I informed the front desk and a new larger hair drier was provided promptly! So this is good that the hotel staff responded quickly and appropriately. A maintenance technician came to the room to look at the hair dryer situation before we were even out of the room. Checkout was fast, easy and convenient. I'd give the hotel a 9/10. This is a good place to stay, it's not the Ritz Carlton, but then again we were not here to bask in luxury. We just wanted to survive the rest of our family vacation...

Me an my boyfriend had a room stay at this hotel. The room was nice and clean. The stay was good until they was knocking on the door multiple times at 8am & 9 am. Which was our fault bc we didn’t put the dnd on the door. But let’s fast forward to the end an after the stay. My boyfriend left his personal item (gun) in a drawer a left it by accident. So in the morning he calls a see if yhe gun was there, and it was. So this Indian guy was being rude to my boyfriend over the phone telling him he need to come get before 2pm.(what was he going to do with the gun after 2pm? Is my question ) My bf doesn’t have a car and he was at work. So he explains this to the Indian guy an told him that I (girlfriend ) would pick it up and he told my bf that I couldn’t an he would have to pick it up by 2pm himself. Which my boyfriend already explained why he couldn’t and that I would be able too. Sooo since the Indian man didn’t want to give it up a trying to rude over the phone over property that wasn’t his. I called the cops. An when the police had came he was looking crazy in the face. He told the police that he would give it up if he came but he didn’t tell the police that he gave a time limit on item an that my boyfriend gave the okay for him to give the gun to me when I came. He kept saying no. We told him which room we was in an everything so he wouldn’t think we was lying about anything. So when the cops came he basically gave the gun over an it went as simple as the police calling my boyfriend to tell them that it was okay for me to get it. But it was a nice stay. A nice hotel. But it did feel a little dirty. But just don’t leave y’all belonging by accident unless u wanna go through a whole...
