9 finger fungus. If I could assign negative stars, I would. [ ] I have been patronizing this nail salon for a few years but, that ended today. My patronage ended today because I was gaslighted after speaking with manager. I spoke with him about what I suspected was fungus underneath all 10 of my ombre nails which were done at this shop. I said to him that I never had fungus before. The manager grabs my hands flips them over to inspect them and then says, you have to change your set. I replied had l been told that by the last nail tech at his salon, I would done so. He then replied “ it’s not our job to tell you what to do”. We have no way of knowing what you do when you leave here! [ ] When I said I feel like I should file a complaint with Broward’s board of health because he accepted no responsibility as the salon representative but, I won’t . [ ] I then said I’d just like to have the ombre nails soaked off. [ ] The manager threw me out and “said you can go somewhere else and have them soak them off”, he continued by stating he didn’t care if I filed a complaint because they pass all of their inspections.
When I tell you this was rude, mean and insulting it’s an understatement.
I was literally blamed for causing multi-nail fungus on my own hands!!!
[ ] I should have run out of the when I had to ask my nail tech to either wash his hand or use gloves before he started on me because he had done neither and he had literally finished wiping down his station. I will file my official complaint soon and update this...
Read moreSo I went to Asian Nails on Friday, March 10 and asked for a polish change. I told the nail tech that I wanted a color that matches the color on my toe nails, which are aqua blue. He helped me pick out a blue color that was a close match. He told me that is was a changing color, which I said was fine since that's what I had before, but when he finished applying the polish my fingernails were white.
When I went to the counter to pay and spoke with the lady who I believe is either the owner or manager, she was very dismissive. She told me that the color depends on a person's body temperature and that the main or dominant color is the opposite of the color that is on the bottle. She told me I should've asked for the color I wanted and I told her that not only did I ask, I showed them the color I wanted by showing them my toe nails. How on earth would I know that the color that's on the bottle is not the dominant color?
I thought she'd at least offer for me to have my nails done over with the right color but she was dismissive and nonchalant about it, as if I was bothering her. So not only will that be my last time going there (and I go every two weeks) but I will tell my friends who also go there to find another nail salon.

Read moreBeen coming here for 3 years off and on. I’m not consistent with doing my nails on a regular basis. Today I went and I asked for my acrylic overlay to be soaked off, to redo, and with gel polish. I was told that it would be $45. My nail tech did not soak off my nails. He decided to pop off my nails which I could have done at home myself. And it hurt. I didn’t do it myself because I didn’t want to damage my nails. I asked him why wasn’t he soaking off my nails and he said because it will make my nails to too soft to do the acrylic overlay. When he was finished and I went to pay, my total still came up to $45. I asked why was I being charged for a service that I did not get. I asked for a soak off and he did not give me a soak off but yet I was being charged for a soak off. She said with an attitude that he still had to remove my nails so it’s the same thing. I feel like that should have been explained to me. Also, I should have received the service that I asked for which was for my nails to be soaked off. This is not the first time that I’ve gotten my nails soaked off, yet this is the first time that I was told that I couldn’t get one. Won’t be going...
