Great location for access to Homer and the Spit. There is a variety of places to park a motorhome, camper, or even enjoy the Like's of tent camping in designated areas set with picnic table, fire pit and a nice park for kids. Park attendants drive by regularly in the day time which offers the reassurance in Bear awareness and wildfire prevention. Embarrassing as it is my battery died while I was there & after trying to get help for 4 hrs and becoming frustrated the park manager showed up to my rescue and was very kind, helpful and humorous when I was not so happy. Read moreAbsolutely beautiful. Well maintained and very clean. Lots of fun, sturdy equipment for kids suitable for a wide range of ages, sizes, and skills - even grownups. Places to sit everywhere. Plenty of parking. Grassy areas. Covered cooking/eating area. If you're lucky, you'll get to meet some of the locals. I absolutely believe that if you want to live in Homer you have to be an Olympian, artist, writer... A lot of talent lives here. And they're all so nice.

On one side it has swings and play structures for larger kids. The show piece is a tower that overlooks the bay and mountains. There is a water feature, a small boat, a climbing forest and more!
On the other side of the playground is an area for smaller kids with a train and a smaller tower. They also have the smaller bucket seat swings.
