Love it! I am a huge theater aficionado, and this theater makes my top ten list in the nation! It is very chill and modern. The theater has been remodeled with comfort chairs with counters and tables and chairs so you can enjoy your theater experience pub style while you enjoy your tasty and diverse snacks. I purchased a charcuterie board because..why not. Popcorn with yeast flakes is unique and delicious and I enjoyed a home made cookie. The prices are very reasonable. A bottle of water is $1! How refreshing!!! The modern updates include new lighting, new speakers and the bathroom is the most luxurious bathroom I have ever been in period. This is an elite theater experience and every time I come to Homer I am so excited to visit this theater! Keep up the fantastic work.

Homer Family Theater is friendly, community involved, brings in wonderful assorted films and has a documentary film festival that we all anxiously look forward to every year...AND the choices and quality of snacks are great too.

Last day of our trip in Homer, we didn’t plan much, so we decided to walk around this beautiful town and take our time for watching a movie. This theatre is small but cute, clean and nice, we enjoyed our time here.

The worst popcorn ever had in a theatre comment just makes me laugh because it is the best popcorn I and many people have ever had at a theatre because it isn't covered in fake butter and it's not priced outrageously. Real butter on plane popcorn they shake it you season it with salt yeast spike whatever you want. So if the popcorn tastes bad it's your fault not theirs. The theatre itself is old but new owners keeping it going in our small town of homer do great at upgrading it every few years and try and keep us in the loop with new movies. If you want more than just popcorn be sure to get an ALASKAN...

Sometimes, the big whiz bang of technology is more of a distraction than an asset. And while this place is not the high-end theatre of major metropolitan areas, neither is its location. It is, however, a wonderful, cozy film center of the Homer Community. I enjoy its spirit of Welcome each time I go. They do a great job bringing large screen films to a small community and still manage to share lesser known films that shouldn't be missed. If you're in the area at the time, you should really check out their annual Documentary Series event. The schedule is chock full...
