The quality of ingredients at this café is exceptional—some of the cleanest and best I’ve ever experienced in Homer. They use Dandy Blend powder as an alternative in any coffee drink recipe, paired with incredibly clean, high-quality nut milks. Their matte lattes and London Fog are outstanding, with the latter featuring locally harvested fireweed flowers for a unique and exquisite flavor. The Grounded Smoothie is absolutely phenomenal—so good that I haven’t even felt the need to try anything else yet. The Fire Mocha is perfectly spicy and delicious, and they even offer VEGAN whipped cream! Their matcha lattes are the best in town, especially when you add lavender. Their chia cups are next-level—creative, high-quality, and unlike anything I’ve had before. The atmosphere is pure vibes, all day every day. Zoe and Jen, the owners, are nothing short of angels—kind, sweet, thoughtful, and passionate about their craft. From day one, I’ve felt so grateful for their café because they truly “get” me. Not many businesses validate my thoughts and feelings about coffee, but this place has made me feel seen, included, and supported in my café beverage journey. ZenDen Cafe in Homer, AK was a delightful experience! The coffee was exceptional—rich, flavorful, and clearly crafted with care. Nice efficient servers. We all loved our drinks, I had a flat white / oat milk. The atmosphere is a standout, with eclectic art adorning the walls, creating a cozy and creative vibe that’s quintessentially Homer. I live in town, My boyfriend and I received 2 drinks for just under $20, they were horrible. I ordered 2 iced matcha’s and I’ve had quite a few matcha’s in my life. These were the worst I’ve ever had. It was watery, bitter, and left an awful taste in my mouth. The ice in my cup was completely melted was I received it. Granted maybe they didn’t know how to properly do an iced matcha but that’s no excuse to charge almost $20 for 2 drinks that are absolutely disgusting.
