We chose this hotel based on reviews, lovely online photos, and its location. Seafarer Suites did not disappoint!! We loved our four night stay!! ||Our room was spotless! It was so cozy, adorable, comfortable, and had obvious attention to detail! I really can’t say enough good things about this hotel and we were very happy with it! The ONLY problem was us, as we traveled from Missouri to Alaska for a 17 day stay, so the 3 of us had big suitcases, we had multiple suitcases, 3 backpacks, a cooler, and a large bag of snacks. So our clutter was the only problem for me. The hotel had bigger rooms available and we should have went with one of them. But it wasn’t bad; the room wasn’t tiny. ||The beds were mega comfortable; I have insomnia issues, but not here. That’s how comfortable it was! I believe the rooms had recently been renovated, because everything was so clean and appeared new. The room was perfectly decorated. The little kitchen area did not have a stove, (we didn’t want or need one) but dishes, kitchen utensils, glasses, cups, etc were nicely displayed and available for use. I observed the Keurig coffee maker, small refrigerator, and microwave all matched; they were an almond color and I had not seen such a color before. Very nice!! We quickly used all the coffee and necessary condiments. I text the owner and a nice supply of everything we needed was soon delivered. The bathroom was cute, fairly spacious, and a had beautiful tiled roomy shower. ||My parents and I had day time excursions every day, except one day. We dropped my Dad off at the harbor for his fishing trip. Mom and I opted to do our laundry and a laundry room was available for guests at a reasonable price. A housekeeper provided us with the necessary quarters, trading dollars for coins. The two washers and dryers were stacked, one on top of the other; they were very clean and appeared new. (We brought laundry soap and such with us)||I highly recommend staying here! It was quiet, yet close to restaurants and stores. I would love to...

HIGHLY RECOMMEND and was in awe when we opened the door. The photos don’t do it is Justice! It is very well maintained and updated. It smells so clean and new. I was very happy due to my sensitivity to smells that trigger migraines.
I recommended to all my friends if they aren’t staying in their campers. Well worth the price and so happy we booked. We wanted a get away from our town up north, so drove the 4 hours south to do a charter out of Homer. I feel right at home in this suite.
I do have a few recommendations for the owners. Nothing serious but just more comforts.
Add blinds to the dining area. Every other window has blinds and I know there is a gorgeous view from the room, but at night I don’t like the thought of people seeing in.
The pillows are way too large on the bed if you have a bad neck. Maybe more options of sleep pillows. Thinner ones vs all thick pillows.
Other then that I was 100% satisfied with the room. Clean, modern, even a dishwasher and the bedroom bedding smelt so clean and like laundry. I even liked the check in process. They emailed your code for the door, and WiFi password. That way there was limited contact during COVID and a faster check in process.
UPDATE:
Owner is amazing! After I posted review he dropped off some thinner pillows for me and texted me ❤️ He also left some candy. Will definitely be staying again. Great room. Great...
Read moreSuperb room. One of the most comfortable and nice suites we have stayed, if not the nicest.
We are a family of 6 - 14, 12, 7 and 5 year olds. We stayed at this place when we booked a charter with Ofishial charter company - I think the same folks own it. We had the largest suite, the Admiral suite - which is really cool after 21 years of service between the Coast Guard and Navy. It is a 3 BR 1.5 bath apartment. 2 kings, 2 queensland a fold out couch. Mattresses are Beautyrest pillow top and very comfortable. The suite is absolutely beautiful - they did not cut corners. So comfortable - or kids did not want to leave. Full size kitchen with all utensils and cookware needed - including a full size kitchen made mixer. Full-size washer and dryer - normal - not coined ones. The only thing it doesn't have is a dishwasher. This is not a hotel. There is no front desk. The doors open with a code that is sent by text. When something is needed you text and get a fast response. There is no breakfast bar - it's not the Holiday inn.
If you are looking for a nice quite comfortable with all the home amenities, this is ideal.
My only complaint is I would like more water pressure in the shower. But that is very minute compare to what's right.
We would definitely...
