Bubbles Soda Parlor — Restaurant in Homer

Very cute ice cream and soda parlor if you're looking for a treat ya self moment this is it. Great variety of ice cream flavors, sundaes, specialty drinks and many other desserts. One of my favorite stops to take family from out of town for dessert. Whenever I order two scoops in a cone that is plenty and the ladies that serve the ice cream don't hold back, we love to see it queens! I like to go on special occasions due to the expensive price but worth it. I pay around $9+ for two scoops of yummy ice cream in a waffle cone for one person (which is totally understandable for Homer, Alaska lol if you know you know.) They offer awesome ice cream that is hand scooped with massive portions so even though you're paying more I think it's worth it. Along with the yummy ice cream you're also compensating for the consistency, unique atmosphere and fast service. Every time I visit Bubbles the ice cream scoops sizes are dependable and I know exactly what I am getting. The decorations and menu are always beautiful. They even have a bubble blower outside during the summer which is an adorable lil touch. The menu has so many choices but I always get the traditional ice cream scoops in the cone. My favorite flavors are strawberry and maui wowie. My husband likes to get the sorbets since he's lactose intolerant. 5/5 stars for non-dairy options, consistency and taste! Great place. Have gone many times but they need to work on reading orders. Wasn’t very pleased putting in an online order.

The order clearly states to put the brownie on the side and no chocolate drizzle.

I show up with my item already made and the girl said that she left the brownie on the side… I told her that mine is suppose to be the same just no whipped cream. It doesn’t say no brownie. She said it did and showed me the reciept …. It did not say to put the brownie on the side.

I then tell her the brownie just needs to be on side for the other order, in which she asks about the cake. I told her it’s the same and the cake goes into the drink…. She forgot to put it in the drink and put chocolate drizzle in the drink after we asked for none.

Great drinks… just annoyed that it wasn’t read correctly and I wasn’t listened too when I told...

Mikes and Bubbles has the most amazing stuff, but it's more than just that. The connections I made with my coworkers were so profound, it's like we were a family.
