I've always had good experiences shopping at The Waterfront. There are several great entertainment venues, popular eateries and chains, and some unique locations. This time I visited several stores I had not shopped at previously, and some old favorites. At every store I met with a kind and helpful sales team. Same held true for dining. Special shout outs for Rocket Fizz on my first visit -- I was able to locate mint ginger ale, cel-ray, and Japanese rice candy! The Verizon team found me a great discount, Claire's helped me manuever with all my purchases and were very sweet with a girl also in the shop getting her first piercing , Barnes & Noble booksellers and cafe super supportive, Mitchell's Fish Market treated me like a grand party even as a solo, and provided a terrific view including the odd weather front moving through. In fact the whole of the mall is attractively designed, and the lights at night, especially on the bridge, are a nice touch.

So this is what a $239 a night suite will get you, first off the #2 button inside the elevator was not working so we kept passing our floor until we finally pressed it hard enough. The actual room was spacious. As the night went on we noticed that it was very dusty, the air vent in the room was caked with dust, the Ottoman had many stains on it, the bedding had 2 stains on it As well. The microwave had; what looked like a small piece of dried tomato sauce inside. I dont believe you can find any vending on the floors themselves, you have to go down to the front desk; you can get what you want and charge it to the room. It wasn't a "BAD" experience, they did offer a lot, like a pool and breakfast but I didn't take advantage of those perks. All in all I will say that house keeping sucks and I will assume that if they dont dust properly and clean eating equipment, then they probably don't wash the bed linens in between guests

The Waterfront is such a unique place to visit. The waterfront is not far from Pittsburgh and is a great place to shop, dine, or walk around on the trail they have nearby. It is normally a busy place because there are so many businesses in one place. That is also what makes the waterfront so unique is all the shops nearby. There are a ton of different places to go shopping. There are also a ton of places to dine if you get hungry. There is a huge movie theater here also a trampoline park and other entertainment places. There is a comedy club and also dave and busters which is a huge entertainment place for adults and kids. The waterfront also hold a lot of history. There was a battle fought a mile down the road and also a spot for an ancient marking. It's all really neatnto check out!

The Waterfront in Pittsburgh is a vibrant and revitalized area that showcases the city's transformation from an industrial hub to a modern and dynamic urban space. Situated along the Monongahela River, this mixed-use development offers a blend of shopping, dining, entertainment, and scenic views that capture the essence of Pittsburgh's rich history and contemporary spirit.

Formerly an industrial site, The Waterfront has been reimagined into a pedestrian-friendly destination. The architecture seamlessly marries old and new, with repurposed steel mill structures serving as reminders of the area's industrial past. This unique blend of history and modernity adds a distinctive character to the space.

Shopping enthusiasts will find a range of retail options, from national brands to local boutiques, all set against the backdrop of the riverfront. Dining choices abound, catering to diverse tastes and offering everything from casual eateries to upscale restaurants.

The Waterfront's scenic riverwalk provides a tranquil space for leisurely strolls, jogging, or simply enjoying the view. The Homestead Grays Bridge adds an iconic touch, connecting the area to the city's history as the former home of the Homestead Grays baseball team.

Events and entertainment are also a highlight of The Waterfront. Outdoor concerts, festivals, and movie nights create a lively atmosphere that draws both residents and visitors. The proximity to the Waterfront's adjacent neighborhoods and easy access to public transportation further enhance its accessibility.

While The Waterfront is a vibrant hub, it's important to be aware that parking can be limited during peak times. Additionally, as with any urban space, visitors should stay mindful of their surroundings.

In conclusion, The Waterfront in Pittsburgh is a testament to the city's ability to repurpose and reimagine spaces, blending its industrial heritage with modern urban experiences. Its diverse offerings and captivating riverfront setting make it a must-visit for those looking to experience Pittsburgh's dynamic...

Nice enough place, good movie theater, some decent restaurants/bars (who doesn't like PF Chang's?), and some worthwhile stores. Nothing too fancy, but not low-end, either. I always find these outdoor retail venues funny in that they approximate a cityscape while many of them are only a handful of miles away from . . . . . . an actual city. Sure, property values/rents/leases in each location are the major consideration, not to mention the ease of coordinating retailers in one spot. But while I'm not balancing the ledger on these projects, I'm guessing there has to be a significant capital investment to build out these types of retail spots. Ultimately, they're the more aesthetically attractive evolution of the strip mall, but I'm not sure they pay out for anyone in the long run (just judging by the number of spots that have either cycled through retailers or are currently closed in all of these types of places). Certainly, you're not coming to this review to get a financial evaluation of anything, and you absolutely can't bank on anything I've written as a source of truth. I'm just riffing on what I think is a moderately odd scenario. Beyond that, if you want some good lettuce wraps and a then catch a movie, the waterfront is absolutely the place...

Easy access from either end of the shopping center, can be congested certain times of the day. Wish they had a "visitors center" or "information" type office to visit. Would make it easier to shop down there & maybe provide advertising efforts for the stores more i.e. offer coupons to shop at the various outlets or something esp. for all the out of state visitors that come not only during the holidays but throughout the year. I'm in marketing/advertising & that would boost the shopping/dining efforts a lot more. Some of the driving throughways are not easy to manage it's more like a maize. Not very well designed at all & have been in a "near miss" or two & have witnessed the same. No definitive roads vs. parking lots especially near the middle area shops. It does provide a variety of restaurants & shops but still would like to see more. No office supply store there any more would like to see another one move in its place. Don't see "security" type vehicles monitor the lots very much but maybe the local police does that, not sure. Seems like crime is at a minimum here at least, so...
