After been to many Bookoff stores in Japan, I admit I have certain expectations. This is a smaller store in size, and if you're looking for old Japanese records there were a few boxes there you can choose from. There were quite a bit of gacha toys but most of them were some kind of fans products like buttons and acrylic stands or keychains. Small selections of Gunpla, but the prices were high (e.g. MG Char's Zaku $100 when it usually retails for about $40). There were some no-box figures and some were actually pretty cheap. Aside from finding multiple copies of a popular movie on multiple platforms at multiple (cheap!) prices, you can find rare items here as well. I collect movies, so speaking from that perspective I can say I have never left disappointed or empty-handed. Alternating between the stores is so much fun for a browser like me, but you can also talk to the helpful staff on the phone without even going there! But where’s the...
