Friendly, efficient check-out counter staff. They move customers in and out of their facility in record-breaking, timely manner. And, all the customer needs to do is have their check-list of items handy, move to those known product pick-up spots, and zoom along from one location to another. And, before you know it, you're out the door and on your way. And, even on those very busy days, with a little bit of patience (and luck), that illusive, coveted, prime parking spot (and all you need is one slot) usually becomes available. At least, that's my experience.
My Time-Tested Costco Wholesale "Parking Lot Sweep" My strategy for securing fast parking. Sorry (I played high school football). It's football season. I couldn't resist. So, ready? Here goes. Is your helmet secure, shoulders pads firmly tied down and mouth piece in place? Ready, set, hut ... for the Costco Wholesale "Parking Lot Sweep." Now, first you've stayed away from Dillingham Boulevard. It's a mess out there with rail construction. Forget the Mauka (mountain-side) approach. Instead, charge Costco from Nimitiz Highway, right? Your BEST BET (I believe) is the Makai (ocean side) approach. Thank you for the wait.
My "Costco Wholesale Parking Lot Sweep" Images Are Now Posted. So, for me at least, my fully tested "true and tried" "Costco Parking Lot Sweep" always yields my strategic outcome. To date, I have always found my one needed spot on every parking foray. So similarly, to YOU my reader, may "the sweep" be with you!!!
NOW, I also have my carefully developed priorities list of "healthy foods and drinks". For me at least, they have those "body nourishing special foods and accompanying drinks." IF you look carefully for them. The fruits (on my list) include avacados, bananas, blueberries (fresh and frozen), raisins (and grapes), kiwifruits (chock full of vitamin C). (NOTE: PLEASE SEE my POB 1 post for more details). They have eggs, milk (2%), juices (orange and POG), whole wheat breads and green vegetables (like spinach, broccoli, and potatos). They have peanut butter and jams (strawberry is my favorite). And, their's is a wide selection of red wines. Mind you, this is my very personal list (after consultation with my doctors and nurses as well as internet and YouTube sources) of what I personally believe are the healthiest foods.
Oh yes. And, there is Kirkland 100 % Columbian dark roast coffee. I love the rich flavor. It remains my favorite.
And, I'm still getting acquainted with the variety of Extra Virgin Olive Oil (in dark glass bottles with .5 % maximum acidity) from the Mediterranean (Kirkland's Toscano P.G.I from Tuscany, Italy) and .3% maximum acidity Kirkland's California Cuyana Valley, Fall 2022 harvest. A CAUTIONARY NOTE: There are fraudulent, or diluted olive oils on the market. (Here, I'm still on my learning curve). I need patience. Please see my latest posts on these developments.
SO, PLEASE CAREFULLY read the labels (harvest in fall, harvest location (one locale?), production methods, expiration dates, maximimum acidity, .5%, .3% etc, if available). They should be on your olive oil containers, which should be bottled in dark glass. These are the current standards that I know.

Read moreThis review is for employee named Maosi who was working on Tuesday, April 16th, around 8:30pm.
My mom was standing, looking at a product, and he nudged her as he pushed his cart. He kept walking like nothing happened. My mom was shocked that he didn't acknowledge her and apologize so she followed him then when she caught up, yelled for his attention. She said, you hit me! He said, I didn't see you. According to my mom, the physical contact was blatant; even if he didn't see her, he must have felt that he hit her (on accident, to give him the benefit of the doubt). But he kept walking. Didn't even turn around. That's fine, accidents happen. Here's the crazy part tho: You have a customer complaining that you hit her (on accident) and yet you don't apologize. Instead, he asked her if she was "ok." She said "no" as in what he did was not ok. But he like act smart and said, do you need first aid? So this further infuriates my mom and says "no!" Again, my mom repeats that he hit her and he says "I didn't see you standing there, are you ok?" Bro, just say, "I'm so sorry I didn't see you there. It was not my intention to nudge you. I apologize." So my mom decides to escalate to management and found Brian?, a supervisor who was very professional about the situation. My mom was explaining what happened, but in her frustration, was unclear, so I interjected and explained what transpired. Maosi then looks at me and speaks in an aggressive manner "we're you there?!? Did you witness what happened?!?" I said "no, but my mom was and that's what she said what happened!" He says a few more things to me in such an argumentative manner so I point to my mom "she's right there, you can talk to her." Then he continues to talk to mom in his argumentative tone instead of just being apologetic. My mom asked if there was a camera in the aisle where it happened and Brian said no. Maosi was not gonna apologize and you can't beat a dead horse so I told my mom let's just go and pay. So we withdraw ourselves from the situation, Brian followed us, and Maosi went back to work, pushing his cart like nothing happened. Brian checked in with us as we were leaving and said that he would make sure Maosi would be addressed about the incident. Maosi, you have a mom, a grandma, maybe a sister? Put yourself in their situation. My mom felt physically abused and you're gonna just brush it off, argue with her and her concerned son, and not be apologetic about it. I hope you learn to be more respectful of women, the elderly, and just customers in general. We're loyal business cardholders and you represented Costco poorly and have marred an otherwise pleasant visit. Management, please conduct performance reviews on...
Read moreWORST COSTCO EVER. Ordered some tires, which I had to wait over an hour in line for in the first place, so already was not a good start. It took ten days for them to have them shipped. But that time my window of being available was over, so when they called, I couldn't agree to their dates, so I had to make more time, and I told them I would call them back when I find out. After a few days, I called back, but each time no one at the tire center would answer the phone. Tried from Monday through Wednesday, each day calling about 4-5 times. Finally on a Thursday morning when I had time, I went there to make the appointment in person. Waited another hour, and when it got to my turn, the agent only took service for batteries, so three people behind me were serviced first. Meanwhile, there were five people on the appointment line that they serviced first, some just came in and was serviced immediately, while the other line had seven people at the most. So at the 1.5 hour mark I told someone the issue, and if someone can help me. Almost ten people who came in after me had already been serviced at this point. The agent SPENCER, made it an issue to chirp at me just to wait my turn. So I asked him, when is it my turn if you just service the appointment and battery people? At this point he became just unprofessional and made several personal remarks. I was so incensed, but since I was still not attended to, I had to keep my cool, and when finally at the 1.75 hour mark, another female agent serviced me. I was supposed to go there to make an appointment to replace my tires which had already arrived, but they were so unprofessional I just canceled my order of almost $1,000.
I don't ask for much, I just to be treated fairly. Costco, how about you make a first come, first served policy, which is the simplest and fairest. The exact words of the female agent was, "we have to service the appointments first." So in your minds, there are more important people, and less important people. Great company policy.
To top it off, on the way back home, I called Sam's Club, someone picked up immediately, and I made a tire change appointment for exactly one week later. I did everything with Sam's Club all one time over the phone, while it took me almost a month total with Costco, with no results. Costco, your customer service policy is a disgrace, and your actual customer service is a disgrace. I will never shop at Costco again, thank you for showing me the light of day of how you treat your loyal customer of...
